  1. W00t +16 crush attack and +14 strenght bonus! That's incredible useless for cw (only pking I do), I'll hardly ever hit with it on high level players.
  2. Amazing! Nice bank too. (I won't even talk about that pc comment -.-)
  3. Woow you're the best, seriously we should all worship you. But please don't post how good you are; if you're acting like that we don't care. OT: Very Nice kills. Keep up the good work
  4. , to that. But seriously, who cares about the ranks? I never look at them (only at the post count) and who does?
  5. More subforums, excactly what we need. defenitely after the huge success of the "help and advice" subforums.
  6. Can this please be locked, it seems pointless to me now. As most of us know, there is a new hide feature the the BBCode. Personally I think it's very usefull for blogs and other and other large posts which you may need to scroll a lot in. But even though it was designed to scroll less, you actually need to scroll more now, because the button to close the "hideable" parts, is only at the top. I think it would be a great addition if it would somehow be possible to hide it at the bottom of the "hidable" part. Jemathonical had an amazing addition to this; thanks for this quote: Thanks for reading my suggestion.
  7. Not very long I think, less then an hour. For how much it costs, just use the tip.it calculator for how much logs you need; Then you can calculate yourself how much it costs. 250ea if you cut and make your own planks, 280ea if you buy the logs and make them into planks yourself and 440-480ea if you buy the planks.
  8. That's totally overkill. At level 30 you get range xp very fast with just a normal bow. I have no clue what I killed at 30 range, but I can remember I used the tip.it range guide, which suggests barbarians at the village, which seems reasonable to me.
  9. Yea, but the helm makes it up for that. Personally I only suggest Veracs if you're gonna duel with, kill the kaphlite queen, or want to do barrows with it. Otherwise the set is pretty useless. (You could always buy the skirt, it's pretty cheap and is the same as any other barrows leg -besides guthan- but with a prey bonus.) Dharock however is usefull at several slayer tasks (fire giant, daganoths, etc.) and it's also pretty good for pking. Another plus is; it's the second best def of all the barrows, only the helm is weaker then avarage, but the legs and top are just as good as torag.
  10. Tears of guthix is the key. I hate herblore myself too and I've hardly made any pot since level 35 or something. Just spend all my lambs and quest rewards on it.
  11. Oak larders all the way.
  12. RuneHq has a great house planner here. You'll need around 1K oak planks for the leveling only. If you cut you're own loggs and make them into planks yourself you'll need 250K for that. If you buy oak logs and convert them, you'll need 30K extra. If you just buy oak planks, they cost around 450-500K. This is obviously only for the leveling self, if you also want some kind of house it'll cost more.
  13. He must get the reply all the time, so I can understand it's pretty annoying. But on the other side; don't choose a name like, don't want such attention. OT: He can't be a very high level, he isn't even in the highscore.
  14. Can anyone explain me the reason of this poll? Is it in any way relevant for the game of this fansite? Or is it incredible interesting in some way?
  15. I have one and I have no clue whether it works or not, but it doesn't harm to wear one, so why nopt.
  16. This one is brilliant:
  17. The first runescape conspiricy theory I've seen.
  18. Yea, but if no one dies everybody loses, in both profit and satisfaction. And I totally agree with the points you mention, if you have a higher change of winning you should use it all. But if you only go out there with only one mission, to not die, then I think you're doing something wrong.
  19. Read the last line
  20. Please don't post in such a huge letter type. And besides, you should give some arguments why it ins't good, otherwise you're not gonna convince anyone. Flaming doesn't work very well either -.- .
  21. To me it seems like the author forgot something while writing this article. Namely; the definition of pking. There are three of them IMO of which one is correct: "I kill other players", "No matter what, I'm not gonna lose something" and "players are being killed, which could include myself". As most of you can probably see, the last one is the best for a healthy pking system such as in RuneScape. The first one is about pjing and the like, which is indeed totally lame in my opinion. However; the second one is something most "dishounorable" players have. Speaking in terms of teleing and one iteming. Some of you may ask what's wrong with that. That's pretty easy to answer, if you analyze the reason runescape is such a huge success. One of the reasons is you gain your opponents armour and weapons he fought with if you kill him. So this is one of the few games, pking is about fun and personal gain. If you remove the gain factor pking will be for fun only. Do you know any pker who would keep risking his armour and wasting (relatively) much money on potions and food? No, me neither. Another point is one of the first points of nurture; "Act to other people, like you like other people act to you" (if you can say that in english). Would you one item if you knew everybody else would do that too? I think not. But; I still think some of the rules are lame indeed. I don't care about a) farcasting, just bring a bow if you can't stand it B) running, you still have around 3-4 hits to try to kill the retreater. The author also mentioned the torso, fire cape, etc. Which aren't tradeble, so they don't give the winner anything. Personally I don't like them too. I suggest they should be made tradeble, but only wearable if you gained it at least once yourself. (Yes, a bit like the dragon weapons, but without a shop.) This will keep people interested in those mini games and keeps pking profitable.
  22. Who does? OT: Very Nice. 99 is truly amazing!
