Do a quest, I forgot wich one, but it's the one you start just east of ardy.

For the shadow diamond, I suggest you use full monk robes and the rest the best mage bonus you have at your bank at the moment. His second form drains prayer extremely fast, but if you use earth spells (wave prefered, but blast or bolt with gauntlets will do to) together with your best bind spell, you'll have no problem at all. For the ones who use both magic and melee, I suggest you to wear your best mage bonus and pray melee. I first had problems with the ice diamonds because I tried to semi tank him with ahrim top and melee armour. That's not suggested! That's the only one I had problems with and I even almost died! Another tip; be aware of the lvl 99 stranger which sometimes appear when you have any diamond in your inventory, he didn't appear to me, but I guess he can cause some serious problems. And by the way, it isn't very hard, most people make it sound harder then it is. Besides the ice diamond I all found it very easy.

You're the perfect illustration of my point. People always complain and never agree with/like something. Your obviously a low level and you say you get nothing, so do (very) high levels and middle players who think their high levels, but aren't. I'd suggest anyone to just enjoy the game as it is; I think when you need updates to keep enjoying this game, it's time to move on.

Have you asked here what the problem is with you playing this game? She'll probably say it's immature or something. Then you ask again, what does it matter to her if you have a (in here eyes) "immature" game. And then you can hold a whole speech why it doesn't matter what you have as a hobby, as long as you keep paying a lot attention to her, etc. At least that worked/works my friends.
