I hate to be nit-picky but doesn't that 0 look slightly off centered? I may be wrong but it looks so to me. If it is, blame Jagex. The only thing I edited on there is the transparent blue color around the shield. If Jagex removed red barring, people would rant about it not being there anymore. Since they kept it added, people rant about it being there. #-o Don't listen to complaints the few days after an update. A lot of them is just new stuff people need to get used to. I assumed everybody knew that already.

If you provide the staff and the spells, I'll take care of taking the pictures and editing them. After all, that's what I'm "hired" for ;). So just add me. Added on the game and yeah will get hold of another staff again and the runes. Should I get the corrupted staff which will last 15 minutes or the one that lasts 30/60 minutes I think? The 15 minutes will be plenty.

Yes, we foresaw this. It's a shame really, of course it's a good update which will improve the gameplay a lot, but I think we'll lose a bit of traffic. You guys also have no idea how horrible and time wasting it is to make a good dungeon map.

This thread makes one thing very obvious: you should all read the site more often! =P

This depends, would you ever use it? Do you slay dragons a lot? Do you any boss fight it would be useful? Do you any mage pvping you wanna risk it for? Etc. Next, how much money do you have already? and closely related how much would you need your current money? Are you in dire need, or are you desperate searching for stuff to waste it on? This shows it's almost near impossible to let us make the decision. Personally, I kept it, it's great for soloing almost any boss (whip + DFS beats GS at most bosses) and it's very useful to use for mage fighting (CW and duel tournaments). At this time, I also killed iron dragons and wyverns a lot for slayer and it was quite helpful there. I also use my DFS more often then my GS. Owh and one tip: what ever you do, don't use it for training the extra attack of the defender helps so much more.

Seriously, doesn't anyone use potions and prayer at corp? Kills go so much quicker and you need a lot less people if everyone does that. :wall:

Assuming the drop rate is 1:6000, the change of not getting a visage is ~13%. With a 1:3000 drop rate, change is only 1.8%. With a 1:9000 drop rate, change is 26%. With a 1:12.000 drop rate: 36%. It's just what you call a "good shot".

Not, I sold my shield immediately. Especially if you don't have 3M laying around, there isn't much point in getting one.

Start by playing in little worlds, unless you're a real pro (thus already have several pieces of gold armour), you won't be able to make a real difference in any of the (big) official CW worlds. Secondly, CW has become a game of huge stacking, most of the pro CWers all join up in one team, securing an easy victory for them. This leads to very boring and easy games, but there isn't much you can do about it (besides joining them), especially as a beginner. Finally, don't play CW for the armour, the armour sucks and you can better spend your time otherwise. Play CW for fun! With fun and challenging games, the 20 minutes fly by and that's what a game is about.

Now you just need to compare it to a godsword. But remember you are maxed out mostly and so you can hit the demons the majority of the time anyway. But the whip stinks for people around my level. And it's hard to pray flash. P.S. borrow a godsword. A lot of times you use the arguement of your "low stats" to explain why a godsword is better. I really don't think those 3-6 lvls will make all that much of a difference. If you were 80-80-80, then we would be talking. Just wanted to point that out :-) You'd be surprised how small stats difference can make a huge difference on the killing speed. I pot up every 2 kills, but sometimes I forget and then 3rd kill goes lots slower. I need at least one more knockdown.

And temple tracking can be a pretty fun minigame if you do it for a change.

Pouches, definitely use all of them. A summery of methods, however, this is from the same source as I used earlier and again these numbers are all a bit high. However, it is a pretty nice indication. For cash, definitely do cosmics, for xp, ZMI is best. For a nice combo, do deaths or bloods.
