GAH!! not good! despite me having previously downloaded 70% of the patch on the background downloader... It stops at 1%!! GAY!! I dont like this patch already! well, im sitting here waiting for the next few days whilst it downloads the patch at less than 1kb/s.

FINALLY! its been so long waiting for the goddam thing.. now prepare for the immense lag as soon as the servers get back up, and we can see if this patch actually makes much difference to classes.

.divx inst supported by windows movie maker.. and i highly doubt that my videos have drm on them.

ok.. wouldnt that affect several other things on my system though? such as game performace ect..

btw - i am trying to save the screenshots in paint.. and if i put the paint window over the video window, i can see whichever part of the video the paint 'canvas' is over at that point.. If the video is playing.. it plays in the paint window too, even though its meant to be a still image. would using a different image editor make any difference?

another question also.. Is it possible to convert .divx to other video formats, and can someone link me a program to do it if it is possible?

There are certain vidoes, that when opened on my PC, will not allow you to take screenshots of them when played. They are in .divx format and i open them with divx player, although i have tried media player and powerdvd, to no avail. I can still screenshot other videos with .divx endings, just not this set. Its rather annoying as i want to make an avatar out of one of the scenes and i cant get a shot of it. Do some vids have anti-screenshot protection or something? ok sod what i said before.. cant screenshot any .divx files from any media player.. WHY!!

Oxbridge... thats where i want to get to.. and i know that u need fantastic results to get there.. not just in A level but GCSE as well. Ditto. I don't think you need flat A*s but it probably helps. A's and A*'s though. when i first took a look at what the requirements were, i thought.. o bugger, better look elswhere.. but i think i might just be able to As in everything.. I just really cba with my ICT coursework now.. its the most monotonous pointless stupid peice of work i have ever done.. Surely anyone who has done an ICT GCSE agrees.. wow... i dont know whether to agree or disagree.. I know GCSEs are supposedly a lot easier than A levels, but that doesnt mean they arent difficult.. You want to try sitting a GCSE latin paper and then saying its easy? I agree with the bins remark however.. we need thick people to do menial tasks

I'll actually settle for reasonable doubt here. Yes, it was started by a writer of science-fiction who has been accredited the quote "religion is where the money's at" (though last time I tried to actually look up exactly what he said, it all seemed a bit like some form of anti-propaganda rather than something he actually said). Yes, he originially published his thoughts in a science fiction magazine. But then again, he was a science fiction writer. Magazine's like that were the medium he worked with. Publishing what amounts to a religious thought in a paper relating to his _profession_ does not automatically mean he was just making things up to make more money. Nor does it really show that he was just out to make money. You missed out Haruhiism on the list of religions ^^ and to be serious.. maybe L.R Hubbard wasnt out to make money, but that doesnt mean that the people who are running scientology today arent out to make money.

use the word protected lightly since its incredibly easy to get round an Ipod / itunes copy protection security. Its more the morality that would stop you more than anything else.. You need the music files to be in an appropiate format.. rerip them as .mp3 and try again

You have to follow to a certain degree to save yourself from being that wierd kid who nobody wants to talk to between classes, sit next to at lunch, or hang out with before/after school. Even I follow from time to time but I'll stand up for myself or anyone who deserves to be stood up for. I mean if you pick on some kid for 3 years and he finally unloads on you, I won't stand up for you. You deserve everything you get. But if you make a little joke for the first time to someone and they unload on you, I've got your back. tbh most people who arent my friend wouldnt touch me with a ten foot barge pole.. im a love / hate thing i guess. Mostly on account of me having an IQ above 100 i guess.. god i hate idiots who think its cool to get 7% on a maths exam at the end of the year... [developmentally delayed]s.
