After careful consideration I have decided to break the hood in favour of a plate (as soon as I get a plate). It boiled down to my dislike of not being able to tank and getting wrecked in rape rooms. Losing the hood means I will have to deal with more monsters but its better than not being able to tank the simplest ones. I also dislike having to remove hood just to get meelee monsters on me(I probably have a ridiculously low APM lol). Either way I tend to not bother too much about deaths but if occasionally a plate saves my ass a couple times I will take it.

^ Based upon (false) assumption that the social rule of "first come first server" is of greater import than that of "He who is better able to utilize said spot, and able to keep it, deserves it." Both are valid, neither side can hold the other to their standard, so they call each other names. I'm not saying one is right/wrong. I'm saying stating you are right is wrong. Your equally false assumption that I must be lying when I said "spots that weren't exactly crowded on other worlds, but people felt the need to be total jerks just because they could, not out of necessity." I mean, your statement about best utilizing a spot doesn't even apply to situations where people are just being a nuisance in order to force the other person to leave to avoid inefficiency, rather than actually proving who is more efficient. Anticrashing in itself can largely be wasteful, since the tactics employed to do so aren't any better at utilizing the spot, just hogging it. To say that this system of competition is the best utilization of resources in itself IS a false assumption, if you judge by how it causes massive disruptions to our lives when it goes horribly wrong. Our insistence on working against each other continues to worsen many problems. I can move to another world, but why the hell should it even matter when it's not NECESSARY? It's like pushing a kid off a swing when there are two empty swings adjacent. By your justification, people should be able to do it if they're strong enough to do so, which while of its own nature the very rules of survival, not conducive to the society that humans have built in order to achieve higher living standards. Of course, that is also false considering the reality of how western society works (which is, to lie about society being fine when we sweep the consequences under the rug) but if we just keep pushing each other around there's no point to having a multiplayer game, just go mess with some npcs if you want to ego trip :P if gameplay comes before other people, then take your gameplay elsewhere and STOP [bleep]ING WITH ME just, take a moment and consider why you are doing it, and size it up with what you are doing, rather than just doing it...worse things have happened when we forget our reasons Who taught you logic lol. There is no possible link between my statement and an implication of lying on your part. My premise is no one can hold another to their own social standard without some objective guideline (In this case the RS rules.). By doing so, they are the only ones in the wrong. That doesn't mean one has to like everything, or agree, but neither side is technically "right" or wrong from a social rules standpoint. Go into efficiency, kindness, etc and that's a whole new game, with equally subjective values. Lol I read that and was so lost after just the first sentence. Who? Wha? did Wha?...... WHAT?

You should definitely go, you will love the atmosphere. You might even find the sport to your liking. I first fell in love with my Leafs at a game at the Gardens which if I remember correctly was a 4-3 win against the Flyers. I have been to far fewer games since the ACC came into the picture, ticket prices here in Toronto are just downright disgusting.
-
Ahh that is a problem even I have, randoms cutting into my overload timer. I agree that definitely needs a fix.
-
Why does everyone hate the maze, I find it giving me a steady supply for death runes for which I am grateful. My last few price checks for maze rewards have all been 150k+, not bad for around 2-3 min of work.

Summoning, gathering charms is painful.

My main problem with no pl8 is that I cant tank monsters that I used to be able to before, which means I end up using more prayer. I don`t plan on getting rid of the blood necklace, but I am just considering my options.
-
Should I unbind hood in favour of a platebody, I have blood necklace, battleaxe, and surgebox binded.
-
You still need a steel titan, as do I.
-
This is no longer an issue with increased spawn rate. A world can easily accommodate 2 people at steels. You probably already know, but just mentioning it.
-
Omg what did they do with my RFD gloves!!!
-
I love these, also love that the Fremmy diaries have a reward that is worth going for.
-
Noooo...Rank 6 should be Jas0n`s, he`s been Runecrafting for years. I have seen him active in FFDN, and he even ran a Runecrafting clan.

If there is one criticism I have about always had about the Times is that the a few members of Panel have never been receptive about any kind of criticism provided. I have attempted to make posts on the discussion topic and I have got the sense that most of the writers are simply looking for pats on the back for their articles rather than true honest criticism. I have found some articles completely garbage, the author having formed a completely baseless assumption backed by absolutely nothing but his/her ill informed opinion. When I post something as such, I am being asked to post something "constructive" and suggest "improvements" to the article. I am sorry but some articles cannot be improved, they cannot be salvaged because they are as I said, just garbage. I have also seen that whenever anyone attempts to post anything that questions the quality of the article, the entire wrath of the Panel seems to descend upon them. I have since stopped posting on the discussion threads, I have already received a warning and I would rather not make it 2. Besides I would rather not post in a place where I am viewed as a troll.

But lag is NOT a universal issue. Plenty of people are lag free, I'd hazard a guess that the lag free people make up the majority now. It IS an universal issue of many people, just not everyone. It has become much worse with recent updates though, the newest one being the tutorial update which cut my FPS in half(and that of many others). I guess it's certain hardware/driver/whatever incompatibilites that are causing this. I hope Jagex has a fix for this soon :/ As for how many people are lag free depends on how you define "lag free". Over 20 fps? If it is NOT effecting everyone it is NOT a universal issue. Universal issues effect EVERYBODY. Correct word is AFFECT. It is NOT EFFECT. Sorry couldn't resist. :P

The skill that is the slowest and that is Runecrafting.

Mousekeys are allowed, but technically AHK isn't because it can be adjusted too easily to make multiple outputs from one input. But I know lots of people who still use it (even though I don't) and as long as you stick to 1:1 then Jagex won't have any way of knowing. That doesn't make any sense. How is AHK "technically" not allowed, anything that follows the 1:1 is allowed. AHK is no exception.

I am constantly and 10-15fps myself since the Troll update. It seems every update adds to the misery.

SOA is out of my budget for now. Considering the staff itself about 15mil and the runes cost around 2k ea. Thanks for the replies. I have my answer Rapier > PPS until I can get SOA.
-
Yeah I know what you mean, but I tried out PPS at Barrows and it was amazing. I am thinking with augury and FSH it would work even better, anyone have any experience. I could try it myself but I don't have any mage gear and will probably have to go buy ahrims to give it a try.
-
Which is faster, PPS with overloads and augury or Rapier with Overloads and turmoil? I will be slaying in Kuradal's dungeon. I have heard they can be cannoned at the Frozen Fortress works as well. I have always done this task with meelee in Kuradal's dungeon, it has been relatively fast but if there is a faster alternative I will consider it.

Is it possible to use SC Hammers at the Artisan`s Workshop? Sorry for hijacking, I was just curious.
-
Claws of Guthix has a chance to reduce an opponent's defence, so I would probably go with that.

Actually, sometimes dds and korasi is better to spec with for slayer. Take a look at this thread. Grimy comes up with a different conclusion at the end though.
