"Have you ignored real life to play Runescape because you had membership?" I don't understand this question as its quite vague. Runescape is part of my life and I prioritize it as such. There are things in my life that I place more importance to than Runescape.

I'll have no problems prayer switching on Jad, however with the hp of that account, I'm worried about getting comboed by the 90s and 180s. :wall: Healers will be annoying on Jad, note sure how I'll manage that part, but I will somehow! :lol: The 180s should not be a problem, they are incredibly slow and you can easily lure them. The actual caves will be a piece of cake even with your defense level, you will just have to to kill the 90s off fast as they do quite a bit of damage. The healers will be a big problem though as its not as easy as it used to be since you now have to lure them away from Jad or they continue to heal him while attacking you.

Why would you assume he was being "douchey"? Unless you are just here to troll in which case I won't get in your way. People get kicked in dg for the most stupidest of reasons. I remember once when the keyer having already finished the floor decided to buy some salves and cook them because he was out of food and the rest of the team decided that they wanted to kick him because he was not outside of the boss room. I never clicked "yes" but I clicked outside the chat box (accidentally) and it simply ignored my vote and kicked him anyway. Point being, this is runescape, people like to act like idiots and kick others for no reason other than amusing themselves.

Mage works well. You will take a bit of damage from the 90s and the healers but it should go by pretty fast. Just don't screw up prayer switching on jad and you should be fine.

Did you watch the video? He says in it he's going to max out... I thought he meant maxing out in f2p as in getting 120 dung in f2p till he clarified.

I claim it is the best article written because, in my opinion not yours, it tells of a subject that has rarely been brought up in the relatively innocent Times publication. I thought it should have been featured instead of the defense one because the defense one has been discussed to no end on RSOF, in game, irc channels, etc. You don't hear about solicitation to minors, especially not to 11 year old girls, in a video game. I'm not saying the defense one wasn't well written, because it was. But the third article had first hand information, drew at emotions, had a source backing some claims, and was never written about. In which case I agree with you, I was impressed with the daring of the author to not only engage some of these people in world 1 but to also write about it.

Its definitely worth planting calquats. You will probably end up profiting from farming herbs anyway so its well worth spending a bit of profits on calquats. You are also not 85 farming yet and cannot do torstols (which depending on prices can be more profit), so you had better off trying to get to 85 as fast as you can which also makes calquats a viable option.

Having spent a considerable amount of time in F2p I have always known about the activities that certain people used to engage in World 1. I spent a lot of time merchanting over there in my early runescape days and knew of the many problems that plagued the place. What I did not know is that it still happens, but this is the internet and when you have a bunch of prepubescent kids in one place they are bound to do something like this. I doubt there is something more sinister but it is definitely concerning. Please, don't project your ideals as though it was a group consensus. Why do you personally dislike the article about defense? Was it too elaborate, or not elaborate enough? Did it miss a key point or two? Does it happen to be too repetitive? Could it be an article too verbose to be easily understood? Did it reiterate what others have said without introducing a new idea? Is the article too trivial, or too serious? You see, by stating that you dislike something offers nothing to help the author improve. That's why your remark regarding the 'useless article about defense' holds no weight, thus it's merely an unsubstantiated claim. It's meaningless in that it serves no purpose. How did you get that from his post? The guy just called the article "useless", which his opinion, I disagree with it but he is entitled to it. Sure its not constructive, but lets not bash the guy before he has a chance to explain. Maybe he just feels that the other article was much much better, in which case I agree with him. It certainly discussed a topic that some may consider "taboo", it probably came across as informative to some as well, few people know how bad the situation in World 1 is.

That's just awful, don't worry too much about chaotics, with your dg level you will be able to get them fast enough. If you plan on maxing out, you had to dg anyway. Good job getting all your stuff transferred to a friend though, at least you manage to save some money that way. For now though if you can stop using the computer you are currently using, and use another one to change all the passwords to everything from facebook to all emails. Virus scan and make sure your computer is completely clean before using it to Scape again. I have been hacked as well so I know how it feels(they didnt get my pin though), its a bit of a bummer but you will get over it.

Does the karamja elite reward activate in the kiln? As in can you still get resurrected once a day?

Agreed just lost 5-6m at rock lobsters + 211 crimsons, logged into varrock. Today is a horrible day, i thought I would get my yak today. :(

Don't forget that they also reduced their droprate. Agreed, so its like okay i just got an effigy, I better run straight to w117 in the middle of the task or I will have a reduced effigy drop rate for the rest of the task.

You should not complain about difficulty until you have tried it. From what I saw from the stream it was not at all a cake walk. It might have been for the people that just did it but for the average player even with max stats+yak+turmoil+overloads, it will not be easy.

Just so that people understand, this about forcing people to use them on the spot not about nerfing their drop rate. People can still train runecrafting via effigies but now the restriction of 5 effigies combined with the investigation requirement means people have to be forced to get assists instead of waiting till they have the skills required to investigate the effigies. What possible reason is there to make it so? What advantage is there in stock piling effigies as to opening them on the spot? Sure high level stats should give you an advantage like opening your own effigies, which is exactly what I and most people want. I should be able to bank them till I train my skills.

This is Runescape, mage and range are there to compliment meelee. :P

Assist, or get the levels to do them yourself. Which is what I was doing... :rolleyes: But now I have to search for someone to open an effigy or suffer a reduced drop rate.
