After my initial feelings of outrage, I have rethought my position on this update. While I would have preferred that Jagex not have gone this way, I realize that it is their choice which direction they wish to steer this game. Sure there are now players who can use micro transactions to get ahead in the game but that has little to no effect on my own game play. I will continue to proceed playing this game as I still enjoy it and Jagex's decision to implement this update does not change that.

Use magic, polypore is fine. Bring magic potions/vecna skull. Use Ganodermic against Jad as the magic absorb is particularly useful.

Well I finally have a good reason to quit, and its damn shame as I was finally starting to enjoy the game. I wont be subscribing for members anymore, I might log in to f2p to chat with friends or play one game of GOP but that's it. I really wanted to complete my goal of maxing out but I see no point in playing anymore especially with the current direction that Jagex has decided to take.

Definitely use the BA horn, it saves you quite a bit of time and its certainly more fun than conventional agility training. Use pies as well, the experience rates at gnome are quite a bit higher than ape atoll or wherever you are currently.

You dont really need ahrims, I remember void being pretty effective.

I don't know where you are getting these colours but the entire elite set is grey/silver.

And that most likely you will maybe get it from the wheel in 5 years time spinning 2 times a day. So I think it is rather dull to say the wheel is stupid because of that... The best items in the game should not be available like this.

From what you're saying it sounds like a chaotic staff isn't worth buying for glacors. Two new questions: 1) Is it worth getting a chaotic staff for anything? 2) Which t10 ring upgrade do I get? Berserker will only add 1% strength boost over t9, and blazer will give an extra 2.5% damage boost with mage, while blitzer will give a 1-tick speed boost all the time, instead of only 90% (Which is a pain to ss flick, by the way). Currently leaning towards Blitzer, but am undecided. And please, no "DPS boost blablabla y r u even maging in dung it sux" I like to mage in floors, which is why I use w77 instead of clan most of the time. 1) Imo just get the staff, you will probably be dging a lot more so might as well spend your tokens on something useful. Eventually you should be able to buy all chaotics/prayers/items anyway. You will definitely see a noticeable difference in kills/hr. 2) I would go for t10 berserker first, also from what I have read tier 10 blitzer > tier 10 Blazer.

Have you taken into account time getting the tokens? Yes. That is the afk part, using the tokens is very high apm and is like 91k rc exp an hr. As per the prior question of how much longer it would take about 50% more time due to the current max rc rate being slightly over 60k. Wow that is pretty impressive, I suppose the changes to pouches have really sped up tabbing. Are you using a familiar to get this? The last time I tabbed (nearly 2 years back) I wasnt getting anything close to that.

Quite a few people have told me that playing in f2p does increase chances of getting the gloves. I have no first hand knowledge of this though.

Not really. Unless they're trying to manipulate the maple market (which is laughable) there is nothing they can do to benefit from this off others. This has also been posted to at least one other fansite using a newly created account, so they'd have some agenda. Maybe this person wants to influence the RS economy by creating a massive influx of gps. So yeah... that's the best I could come up with.

My first piece came after 5 hours, after that the rest of the pieces came in less than 2 hours. Like it has been mentioned its all about luck, hopefully yours will take a turn soon.

Do not use Range, it is really slow. Bring ahrims and use polypore, switch to Ganodermic for Jad. You can also use SOA with armadyl battlestaff but I find that polypore is fast enough as it is. Bring 3 overload potions (4), 3 renewal potions (4), 8 brews (4), rest with prayer potions and couple of super restores. No need to use flasks as you may not even use brews and you should have enough prayer left over even if you use leech magic.

Are you sure this is wise? I think it would be more useful to see the amount that are lost right after they are fired. Not questioning your method, just saying what I would find more useful.
