Where can I get old drivers from? I downloaded the compatable driver right from the AI site any they only had the latest one on there.

I don't plan on Overclocking so the AMD will be better than the Intel chip. The DVD drive is only a minor thing and I think im gonna do for an IDE one now instead of using up a SATA header. The HDD has been reccomended to me by a trusted member of this forum too. As for waiting... as you may have seen by my two current posts of PC problems that's not really an option. lol

The 640MB Gainward 8800GTS Bliss is ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã257.31. Its a lot of money tho and i'm not sure if its worth it or to get the 320MB Gainward for ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã189.03 (ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã68.28 saving). My new PC wont look as cool as my current one on the outside but its gonna be a beast on the inside. Watercooling does look pretty sweet but air cooling and heatsinks are a lot more efficient these days and a lot less hassle. when i spend 99.9999% of my time looking at the monitor rather than the actual computer I think id rather save money on making it look good and instead spend more money on making it actually good inside.

I agree, but it shows no nudity, no implied sex and no "bad" language. While I 100% agree it should not have been shown on this forum (and you chose to take that image from another thread where the admins remove bad ads, not taking it yourself) it is not going to harm anybody that see's it. You see more sexual images on tv than in that banner advertisement.

Like Rick and Parabola, I have seen Hohoto's signature many many times and all I can remember is the image hes currently got in there and the quote as posted. I dont recally anyhitng bad being in there? Perhaps the administrator that removed it made a mistake, only human?

How come using default drivers work then when the proper ones don't. Surely if the ram on the card is busted then it should still be messed up? meh, might have to resort to onboard til i get my new pc

Hi, I've got an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro and today it seems completely fubared. the graphics are all messed up on the screen with lines all over the place etc. I uninstalled the driver and my pc loads up fine now just really laggy screen refresh (using default xp driver). However when it comes to re-installing the drivers for my card (latest ones from the ati site) the problem comes back? Any ideas people?

You cant do it with just static html. You'll need to use some kind of database either sql or flat text file using php or some other dynamic scripting language

Perhaps the fault is with American Media companies, I don't think we have the same kinds of problems as you seem to be experiencing. As for your stupid question "Answer the question. I am getting a new one but I don't want to scrap this one, its still a pretty good PC and my parents will be happy using it. I'm kinda at my wits end right now and without another hard drive to test with I still don't know if its a hardware or software issue. :(
