There are some people that if they visit a website which forces music on them will close the window never to return. If you really NEED to have music on your site (and remember that it must be your own or you could be accountable for copyright abuse) then use one of those sites that put a little flash player on your site that people can play and stop it on demand rather than embedding it directly into the page where it will download and use up both your and your users bandwidth even if they dont want to hear it.

The free version of camtasia will not export video clips into a format that can be used by other software. You will have to pay for the full version if you want to record in a format other than the proprietary format.
