  3. https://twitter.com/georgesampson/status/223055216403156992 Still a member, and he's even got a few levels in dg so he must still play occasionally lol.
  4. There's a bar in the client now? Ewwww. My screen real estate!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. The YouTube video wasn't a commercial. How do you know they paid him to "pomote" it as opposed to being invited to see the studios or even Sampson himself ASKING to go there. He is a veteran player afterall.
  6. Welcome back :) I'm also a older player (27) and long time veteran (2001). If you feel like joining a clan chat for casual chat then add me ingame for a chat. Any events we do are spontanious, random and entirely optional. Levels don't matter. Now if you'll excuse me I need to find and tell my friend I can't come to see his band play because I'm training agility ermmm feeling sick.
  7. Is there going to be a sticky posted with the list of approved hosts? also please add Imm.io (http://i.imm.io/vSl7.gif)
  8. The breadcrumb is missing from the bottom of pages Forum.Tip.It > RuneScape > General Discussion > Post-Upgrade Details
  9. If you go to your signature settings you can find the old url to upload to an approved host.
  10. I fear this thread is going to become full of avatar requests :S The message was posted weeks ago that they would be removed.
  11. Just wanted to mention that the rest of the work you've done is REALLY great. Thought I'd better say so you didn't think I was just being a negative nancy :P The image thing is just a massive inconvenience for me especially as I believe it to be a solution to a problem that doesn't really exist.
  12. How does one get added to the image filter? Most of the time I use my own host for stuff. I have no interest in harvesting ip/browser details. Edit: Just saw this: Well that's a pain in the arse, why am I forced to use 3rd party image uploading services that can shut down at any point losing all my images? Does anyone remember when Speedis closed down deleting everything? It also prevents, for example, linking to an legitimate offsite image on an actual website. For example. Look at this picture of Murray and Federer... Also what makes Leetscape any more trusted than my own sites? Both are owned by long standing members of Tipit. Is it possible for legacy images posted before the change to be unblocked otherwise there's a LOT of threads that are going to be broken.
  13. Install inSSIDer and see how strong the wifi signal is on your computer, that will show you if it's weak and a possible cause of your problems. http://www.metageek.net/products/inssider-wifi-scanner There could be a bunch of nearby wifi networks on the same frequency for example or the reciever in your computer might be pants.
  14. During process YouTube automatically matches content already in its database including music and football clips. That's why its being flagged as soon as you've uploaded it.
  15. Wonder if this was anything to do with the leap second bug that lots of online companies experienced?
  16. "any idea what to do" Don't upload videos you dont own the copyright to. Not really much else to suggest. You can use royalty free music for the background but that won't help in your situation as its the football clips causing your problem.
  17. It's Gerhard's personal thing.
  18. "help turn Philipe from a boy into a man" starting to regret changing gender to woman at the MOM last week >.<
  19. But perhaps the conversation is stiffled because the single thread is so difficult to read/post in?
  20. We dont all have time for a 14 minute video. Can you list the abilities as well in this thread?
  21. Urgh anyone caught gambling in beta should have their access revoked.
  22. Balmer: "Everything you could do before, you can still do in Windows 8" This means that precisely nothing has changed. The concept that made the iPad stand out wasn't the fact that it had a touch screen. Microsoft has tried that for at over a decade (Windows Tablet PC) without success. The iPad, and to a lesser extent Android tablets, are popular because it isn't a computer/PC (at least in the eyes of the public). It's an appliance that provides communication, entertainment, media consumption, and many other functions in a form where you simply push a button with your fat fingers and it just works. While iOS (and Android) is an operating system, it's practically invisible. And, like any appliance, the user is protected from accidental harm. There isnt a need for the OS to keep asking, "are you sure you want to click/download/run/open that?", or telling them, "you're unprotected, please install firewall/antivirus/etc", or "there is an important security update to install" seemingly every week. There are no drivers (visible), no techno-geek speak, no expertise required whatsoever. It's intuitive enough to simply pick up and play. But Microsoft seem fixated with the idea that "everything is a PC running Windows". Windows 8 has disastrously contradictory goals. To compete with the iPad (which is an appliance) and to do everything Windows 7 did (which is for a general purpose computer). The net result is that it can't do either of these very well. It's only tolerable on a desktop to the extent that you can make all the 'features' of Windows 8 disappear, and it isn't a tablet operating system - it's a PC in a tablet form, just like all the other slate/tablet PCs Windows has supported over the last decade. In other words, an expensive PC in a less usable form. Yesterday the Nexus7 arrived and it'll do most of what people need it to do. Surface is going to have to be REALLY cheap to compete with the tablets and ultrabooks, and I just don't think it can.
