They probably dont do international shipping because its a UK site that already IMPORTS from the US lol, you'll have to find some American site that stocks it if you want it. The 1978 BSG and the "new" series are totally different. The new one is NOT a re-make or sequel its Re-imagined. That means that while the idea is the same and some similarities are shared its got a totally different storyline with new characters etc. The 1978 version is a bit cheesty and camp and while its good its a little dated. My suggestion is to go for the re-imagined series and only get the 1978 if you get round do it at a later date. You will need to start with the Miniseries which is basicly a 3 hour long movie. You need to watch this first because the 1st episode in series 1 starts right where it leaves off. Some advice... DONT get the season 2 dvds yet. In america the Season 2.0 discs only contain the first 10 episodes, its not the complete series. Wait until they release all of the episodes which i guess will be about August because thats whn they are all being released in the UK. A good site for information on Battlestar Galactica is the Battlestar Wiki which i help on sometimes. But be warned, season 2 has just finished so its full of spoilers if youve never seen any of it before.

I hope Sony realise that its illegal to make "back-up" copies of DVD's ;) All seems a bit suss tho, if they didnt have it on Blu-Ray why not just use a regular DVD version of it rather than the glaringly obvious DVD-R? Edit: on closer inspection its fake. The image of the DVD-R is not from the same laptop as the first picture. Edit: On even more inspection the first pic is a cake. lol

The AVP stuff looks nice and all but its an awful film. Lance Henrikssen (sp) tries his best but its a terrible script, what the well was Paul WS Anderson thinking? It had the potential to be amazing and people have been waiting for it since you see the Alien skull in the Predator ship in Predator 2 but like Terminator 3, they toned down the violence, spammed our eyes with fancy graphics of thousands of Aliens. The fear factor didnt even peek into the room while i was watchin it and I didnt give a toss about anyone who died. Shame, the ending was clever and gave a bit of a new insight into what could be next but if a sequel is ever made, it had better have a good budget to get some decent actors/script writers in.

My DVD collection is taking a slow burner for the mo, it's just not possible for me to keep buying DVD's now that I got a mortgage to pay lol However, I did get a couple a few weeks ago so Hitch and Mr & Mrs Smith have been added this month, along with American Dad Season 1 and Family Guy Season 4a. I'm also planning on getting a couple of models or something for my memorabilia shelf. I was thinking about getting a replica Serenity and Battlestar Galactica
