Lillies in the spring?.... People are ranting too much about this. Its not posted on the front page so i see it as more of an acknowledgement of Thanksgiving rather than an actual holiday event.

Windows 7 Wireless problems
@Hobgoblinpie: I haven't been able to find anyone else with my problem using the same configuration. The only thing that is consistent in all cases is that everyone is running Windows 7. I dont think its a problem with Acer per se.

Computer won't turn on!

Windows 7 Wireless problems
I hope its not the router. I have Sky broadband and as part of their ToS and AUP you have to use the router provided by them. It's not as simple as buying a new one and using that instead.

Windows 7 Wireless problems
As explained in the introductory post my wireless card is an Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 5100. It is compatable with Windows 7 and has the latest drivers. It is not an "old" card for "cheapness". http://www.intel.com/network/connectivity/products/wireless/adapters/5000/index.htm Note that there are no issues using the USB reciever. Please read my first post before posting any suggestions to save me from repeating myself.

Windows 7 Wireless problems
Just like many other people on Windows 7 support forums on the internet I am having wireless issues. I will be connected to my router and then all of a sudden internet access will stop and then either it disconnects me totally or gives me "no internet" or "limited access" messages. Trouble shooting tells me to restart my router. If I dont do anyhting after a few minutes it comes back alive and I have internet access again. My laptop is an Acer Aspire 5739G Notebook and I got it on Friday 20th. My basic spec: System Manufacturer/Model Number: Acer Aspire 5739G Notebook 664G32MN (LX.PH602.129) OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 (2.2GHz) Memory: 4GB (2048 + 2048) RAM DDR3 Graphics Card: NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 240M 1GB DDR3 Monitor(s) Display: 15 inch Acer CineCrystal LED backlit TFT LCD Hard Drive: 320GB 5400rpm Serial ATA Hard Drive Some facts: Other computers and devices connected to my router are fine. When I plug the laptop into the ethernet cable, it's fine When I use a USB wifi reciever it's fine (Belkin 54g wireless usb). The issue is only when using the built in Intel Wireless WiFi Link 5100 AGN. I have turned off IPv6 and homegroup as some people have suggested. I have uninstalled the device and reinstalled using default Windows drivers. I have downloaded and installed the latest drivers from Intel website and via Windows Update. I have turned off any power saving relating to the WiFi device. I have tried turning off WEP/WPA/encryption on the wireless to see if that worked... it didn't. I tried changing the channel of the wireless broadcast from 6 to 1 and then 11. No difference. Desperate for ideas here or I am going to have to take my laptop back!!!

Windows 7 out and ready for action
Well it is crap. This is a brand new computer fresh out the box and the wireless internet is dropping every 10-15mins. When plugged into ethernet its fine. Other computers running off the router are fine. Drivers are up to date. Other people are having the exact same issues. Noone appears to have a solution.

Unfortunately your happiness with wifi on W7 isnt shared by lots of people on Windows 7 support forums all around the world. :(

Windows 7 out and ready for action
Whats the deal with all the Windows 7 wireless issues? There are people ranting (including me) on literally every windows 7 forum about all the problems with random disconnections. People have offered various solutions but none of them seem to work forever. Latest drivers, latest windows updates, disabled ivp6, disabled power management on wifi etc and it still does it. No problems at all on XP, Wii, other non W7 wireless devices.

Technically invalid phrases
I don't need to talk myself up in a post. I already brag about my levels in my signature which is applied to every post i make ;) lol My point was mainly to explain why i'm "poor for my level", by explaining which skills i have spent money on, most notably Summoning.

Technically invalid phrases
It makes me laugh when people tell me to "get out your mothers basement" while i'm sat on my nice leather sofa that I own, in the living room of the house that I own, sat next to my gorgeous girlfriend.... but yes... i have "no life" ;) People also say that I am poor for my level. I quit RS for a long time and when I came back I had to start from scratch. Since coming back I have gained 99's in Fishing, Cooking, Fletching, Woodcutting, Firemaking, Defence, Hitpoints and Summoning (in that order and I was already 99 in Attack and Strength). What money I have been able to aquire since coming back from monster drops and skilling have been eaten up by other skills, most notably Summoning. I think I have about 20m in coins right now which to me is fine. I'm not bothered by having vast amounts of wealth, I'd rather spend my money on making my skills better.

RSC Trial-Period Over
Certainly if all the people logging in over these two weeks get access to the original members server then yes there could be risk of RWT. However everything i have read before and yesterday suggests that it will only be for old classic members. And that all the RSC worlds up now are just to gague interest. "There are 15 members' worlds, one of which will be left as being only accessible to those veteran Classic players who have stuck with it all the way through."

RSC Trial-Period Over
How so? The logins are linked to RS2/FunOrb/StellarDawn. I was under the impresison that the RSC worlds when they come online fully will be like cheat worlds. The only proper world will be the one for old members which will be as before..

The reason for price droppings
They will probably naturaly rise a little during the rest of the year as all rares do but yes, it might not rise that high until October next year and before that time it might still lose a lot more money. As recent as 29th august the mask was 18m. A look at the 180 day graph on the GE shows that it peaked at the end of September rising to 28.7m before dropping off and then rising again to 25.6m just before Halloween. The price then dropped just on 1st Nov before going back up a bit. The price is now declining (-95.7k today). I doubt that it will reach the price it was earlier this year (10m) because of PVP inflation but you still might lose some money on in unless you hold out for at least a few months for it to recover. If you bought the item for profit then you couldn't have picked a worse time to purchase tbh.

The reason for price droppings
Its a halloween item... the demand peaks in the run up to halloween and then drops right after before returing to a stable price. Its the same with santa hats around christmas.

Vampyres can't cross the river very easily, and if they do they are severely weakened, like Count Draynor.

RSC Trial-Period Over
I popped on very briefly earlier and met Lime Mercury which was pretty cool :D I'm level 95 in RSC and had to put up with a lot of ppl begging for money and free stuff lol despite me having nothing but a scythe and some leather gloves. I might pop on a few more times but without Rune stuff at my level its not really worth it.
