My house is a mess of a design and needs major work so I might just get the basic menagerie for now until i've finished spending all my money on Summoning. When I get 99 then I will think about sorting it out properly. I might just go for the 6 pets route for now with some of the cheaper stuff but I might spend the money on the mini obelisk, this seems like a good idea. I see that pet rocks are banned but what about pet fish? Can I place my fish bowl next to the pet house or something? I'd also like to know if ranging familiars can be told to attack while safespotting. This would be awesome. Last comment (for now), the interface for changing the left click ability for the icon looks a little out of place to me. Odd.

Pics of Summoning interface changes please. And any Construction masters please can you explain how the pet rooms work. How many pets can you store etc :)

As for how old he is... Andrew was born in december 1978 which makes him 31, almost 32. Runescape came out in 2001 which would have made him about 23 when I signed up. Runescape started development in 1999 which would have made him 21. DeviousMUD was made when Andrew was only 20.

Hehe Andrew has aged well, he doesn't look a day older than he did when you used to catch him on webcam 8 years ago. Nice little interview, nothing new to be said but was nice to hear from the Wizard Gower himself.

Unless there has been a hidden update the cooking gauntlets do NOT affect the burn rate of monkfish. I'm 99 fishing and cooking and have cooked my fair share of monkfish in my time. I still burned the odd few at higher levels.

When you look as the above you can see why a lot of people have been complaining about the weekly reward from the horror, especially given the difficulty in actually creating it for the first time.

You have a good point... (in theory) except the exp you get from the horror is much much smaller than all the others listed above. Horror gives half as much slayer exp in a week as jade vine does in a day. Rubbish. I was really excited when I first saw the rewards, however the excitement turned to dissapointment when I saw how little exp you got each week after the initial kill. If the 10k is broken down into days of the week it would have been equivalent to 1,429 exp a day in slayer. Jade vine is 2,500 xp a day or 1,250 if you alternate it by days growing/kiling. This seems a reasonable number for such a hard task. Killing that many monsters in order to gain the bones required to build it to me seems quite an impressive feat, much more so than completing the jade vine quest. It's unliklely now that I will kill it weekly with such small reward. Shame.

I always thought that one of the draws to slayer was in the variety of tasks. Also it would take so long to kill 1000 Waterfiends compared to the 200 max normal that you would get faster exp and faster slayer points from using a different master. Perhaps an addition for higher level slayers would be a new master that allows you to block more stuff.

Probably even earlier than that. If I remember, that's the default date for all accounts set earlier than that. It's not really a good idea having such old recoveries. You should change them regularly.

Raise your summoning and take an Abyssal parasite then you can protect from melee prayer.

I had heard about this method but couldnt find a guide on how to do it properly. I heard that taking a big group of people on lootshare can also get you lots of charms too. I'll have to give this one a go soon, my current task is Waterfiends :)

I would keep those Graahks. Useful for nature rune crafting.

This thread is just packed to the brim of fail. Unless a person has control of a botnet (which i very much doubt) then any packets of data sent to someone elses IP from their computer is going to cause them to lag out of the game too. Plus a firewall should help to reject most of these packets anyway. I very much doubt any true DDOSing going on in Runescape. Anyone that does is setting themselves up for some major trouble with the cops. Not worth it. I don't belive it. There have always been rumours on tipit about magical programs that you just type in someones name or ip address and click a button and it logs them out. Fact of the matter is that these just dont exist.

I was level 78 when I did Smoking kills. I just reached level 85 slayer and I am on my 98th task. Duradel/Lapalok only.

A lot of peopel seem to be taking it as gospel that the music icon is changing to the horn? As the friends and foes list icons are also not quite the same as the ones we have now has anyone else but me considered that the horn icon was only used in development and that the icons we have NOW are the correct ones. I believe that the only new icon that's coming is the signpost one and it might not even look like that when it is eventually released.
