I agree with swordwarior. I think far more important than a simple level 95 slayer monster is a whole range of monsters across all levels that you can only fight when on task. One of the reasons I stopped doing slayer was because I was always being given tasks to really crouded areas or where people would try to steal my kills/take my spot etc.

Yes you can but you still need to give an extra 5 logs to the keeper once you have lit them on at least the first half dozen beacons.

I'm pretty sure its dungeon in this context. We don't have any keeps as such in Runescape but we have pletny of dungeons and we know a dungeon update is due. My Oxford concise french dictionary gives the following possible words: keep, great tower, dungeon, bulkhead. I picked dungeon as it would appear the most likely in this scenario given the tweets in other languages.

If you are low in all melee stats then gaining levels in magic or ranged will increase your combat level too. My point was however that one of the most useful familiars in the game, terrobird, gives CONTROLLED exp and that it something to watch out for if you are a "pure" True but it just seems kind of a waste to me not being able to take full advantage of all the familiars.

Unsure where the "charm" aspect comes into play but i'm pretty convinced now that dungeon maps are coming.

I don't want them to make Summoning easier as such, but it would be nice for some more interesting ways to collect charms which are not combat related.

While its infinitely unlikely to be a new coloured charm for summoning there is a chance it could be like the abyssal/obsidian/talon charms. Something like it might give you a random amount of exp from 10-1000 perhaps.

Morningrise333: People are not arguing AGAINST a level 95+ slayer monster they ar just providing reaosns why it makes more sense to have a slayer monster at this level instead. I'd be more than happy to see 90-95-99 stuff in all the skills but we just have to wait for the right time for them.

1. Some abilities you don't need scrolls for such as teleporting to hunting locations. Other familiars you do need scrolls for such as run restore with a terrorbird. 2. Well it takes a few seconds to activate the scrolls but you can use a scrolls right after the other. Different familiars use different amounts of the special bar so its not possible to give you an exact figure. You can restore the special bar by going to an obelisk or using a summoning potion too. 3. Yes

For any pouch you make check to see on the grand exchange to see if its better to sell it or to swap with bogrog for 70% shards back. Also make sure you calculate how many shards you need by swapping so you don't overspend on too many shards which you don't need. Like I said above at needing 13,906 crimson charms. This would require 2,875,431 shards to make at a cost of 71,885,775 gp. If I swapped every pouch however it reduces to 862,630 shards and 21,565,733 gp. You can use this same trick of looking on the GE for pouches to see what you can buy on there and then swap with bogrog to get cheaper shards. You can get shards for about 22gp each by doing this compared to 25 in the shop new. Granted this is still a lot more than some people sell for on the forums but unless youve got tens of millions worth of junk theres no way you could get them for the really cheap 18gp each that some people advertise.

GOLD I make a few toadies if I'm ever walking past some swamp toads and pick them up but mostly I just make Spirit Terrorbirds. They are really cheap (only like 2.2gp per exp after swap) and less than half the cost of the toads (if you buy the ingredients) for only a marginal difference in exp. The birds are also more useful for everyday skilling. The barker toads are only really much use against bork as they only last a few minutes. GREEN Greens cost about double the gp to exp than crimson charms do so unless your back is spilling with coins then you might want to pick what familiars you make more carefully thahn just going by what gives the most exp. I made a bunch of Ibis by getting a load of cheap harpoons then Abyssal lurkers by collecting my own abyssal charms. Then I just made Bunyips with the sharks I had caught myself. I think I made about 500 of them and then stopped. I then didnt use any green charms until I reached 89 for the Unicorn. I've collected a few hundred more abyssal charms which I will now use to make the titans but I will probably then go back to making the unicorns with the rest of my charms. CRIMSON Your plan is pretty much what I did/am doing. I didn't bother making any spirit dagannoths though because they only use 1 shard so you don't get anything back when you swap so the pouch price is quite high. I am also making Wolpertingers between swamp titans and iron titans. They are cheaper to make but take twice as long as you need two different ingredients to make each pouch which takes up inventory space. Lastly I will make pack yaks to 99. My current exp is 7,238,288 which means if I go by just crimson charms I need 13,906 to get to 99. 3,788 Wolpertingers, 2,187 iron titans and then 7,931 pack yaks. BLUE I saved all my blues (with the exception of a dozen or so Graahks and Kyatts because they are sop useful) until level 83 for Lava titans because I will use them in the future for 99 mining. I think I made a few hundred of them in total and then waited until 89 for the Geyser titan for the rest. Your mining is already 99 so if you can hold out waiting until 89 then the extra exp you'll get will be well worth it.

If you got the space in your inventory then yes. It's practically free exp because they cost so little to make.

Kinda pointless really as any combat familiar you use is going to level you up so you wont be "pure" anymore. Tbirds fight with controlled and will attack a monster if something attacks you even if you don't fight back yourself.

A little dissapointed that the lying down wont happen. I really like the thought of being able to do that. Perhaps in the future the bugs relating to that could be ironed out and we can get it. Would be nice if Jagex gave us the option of sitting on bar stools though for the pub update :D

Oops yeah sorry, my bad about the shards. Gave blood yesterday and wasnt concentrating. I don't mind getting my own sharks because i'm 99 fishing and with a granite lobster i get them pretty fast. I still reccomend getting your own snake hides though because in the process of collecting you will also get a bunch of talon charms which can be used at 77 summoning for over 1k exp each.

Your argument is flawed. Dark bows came out as a result of the Impling minigame http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarti ... cle_id=418 not because 3000 people had 90 slayer at that time.
