  1. You need to do Priest in Peril to get into Morytania which in turn require completion of Restless Ghost which gives 1,125 prayer exp as a reward. The 1,406 Prayer exp from PiP plus RG would get you to approx level 15 Prayer.
  2. Isn't it already? That's why its generally associated as a "noob skill"
  3. Probably just an NPC at the end of a quest that buys stuff at GE mid or lowest. Much like the rogue trader buys gold jewellrey.
  4. You should be worrying less about merchanting and more about improving your stats.
  5. I use this too alongside my own excel file for working out what to do and when and which is best etc. Any serious summoner has probably created their own one too.
  6. Ghouls are not affected by the Salve amulet.
  7. Why? They can only put forward 10 people and i'm sure there are plenty of other clans with people with high levels in resource skills too.
  8. To be fair Joe all the charms are a waste of exp before level 50 or so. I got to level 52 using Tears of guthix and XP lamps etc. lol
  9. Gold - Save until 52, Spirit Terrorbirds Green - These are expensive to make so if you are on a budget then don't bother making any of these until you are a higher level. If you want to get to 68 then I presume its for Bunyips so you might wanna keep them all til then anyway. Crimson - These are what you will be training on. You will need approx 2,650 charms to get from level 20 to 68 making them in this order... Make 14 of Spirit scorpion (Bronze claws) Make 96 of Spirit Tz-Kih (Obby Charm) Make 12 of Vampire bat (Vampire dust) Make 206 of Honey badger (Honeycomb) Make 122 of Evil turnip (Carved turnip) Make 117 of Pyrelord (Tinderbox) Make 979 of Bloated leech (Raw beef) Make 247 of Smoke devil (Goat horn dust) Make 139 of Spirit cobra (Snakehide) Make 718 of Stranger plant (Bagged plant1) Some of these seconds might be hard or expensive to obtain such as evil turnips or vampire dust so you might want to pass on making those pouches. If you do it as above then you will use 308,291 shards (7,707,275 GP) however you can recoup a lot of that cost by swapping the pouches with Bogrog when you are a higher level. Blue - Save for as long as you can. I made a handful of Spirit Kyatts and Graahks and saved the rest until level 83 Lava Titans.
  10. Me attempting the underground pass on day 1... ^_^ Ahhh memories :D
  11. Its rubbish though. When I got to 99 cooking I didnt notice any difference in the burn rates of fish or other foods except lobsters, swordfish and sharks.
  12. I don't like slayer because a) I don't like being told what to do, and B) most slayer monsters dont drop decent levels of charms. For me it seems better to kill the most efficient charm dropping monsters for a high summoning level and then use combat familiars to speed up slayer if/when i bother training it. From killing the monsters of MY choice for charms I have almost reached 99 in all melee stats (str, att, def, hp) and have a summoning level of 85. I have not done slayer since starting my charm collecting at the beginning of this year. I intend to burst rock lobsters once i reach 99 hp and not only collect charms the fastest way but also max my magic to 99 too. This would never have happened had i chosen to do slayer for charms.
  13. Where does it say TWO skills, and where does it say THIS year?
  14. I wasn't aware that you worked at Jagex
  15. A noob is simply anyone who is a lower level than you. Anyone higher level than you has no life.
  16. Aparently i'm "mean and sad" for politely saying no to a noob yesterday who asked me to lootshare with him when I was charm collecting. *sigh*
  17. Summoning wasn't meant to be easy.
  18. The RWT companies would just lower their own prices to compete. Jagex couldnt then made the gold available super cheap or else people would buy gold all the time really inflating items and crippling the economy. I can understand why Jagex has done this. This must have been used by some RWTers for them to do it as it doesnt make sense otherwise. But no real players really could have been making serious money off those items. The trade limit for a maxed person is 60k, so lets buy 12,000 harpoons (at 5gp). You can still do it in a trade with a player and give them the full 60k gp again for their time and buy 12,000 harpoons for 10gp each (double the ge). But who in their right mind as a genuine player would buy that many harpoons for Ibis? At the most you only need a few hundred before you level up to do something better for exp or usage (granite lobster). People must have been abusing those items for Jagex to change it. As for the bird meats... I always bought my own anyway only took a few minutes to get several hundred.
  19. Your summoning level is 88 which means you should be making the following: Gold - Probably not bothering with these. Too long to get exp, I hardly use golds anymore and i'm only 78 summoning. Green - Unicorn stallions. 12.43 GP per EXP when swapping with Bogrog. At 93 you will be making Abyssal titans which cost 5.19 gp per exp (but you have to get the abyssal charms yourself) Crimson - Swamp titans cost 5.20 gp per exp, Wolpertingers 4.87 per exp, Iron Titan 4.45 per exp and Pack Yak 4.16 per exp. Blues - I personally am saving my blues until 89 for the Geyser titan as it only costs 6.86 and is the highest level blue familiar. Figures assume swapping with bogrog and buying secondary ingredients on the GE. Does not include the 1gp cost per blank pouch. I have no experience yet of rock lobs so can't help you there though.
  20. [removed patch notes as now edited into first post]
  21. I think provided we get proper updates (read quests/diaries/minigames/new areas) every few weeks too, i'm happy that little things like this are released rather than it going 2 or 3 weeks with no updates at all.
  22. Aw well. My excitement over a new quest has been suitibly dampened lol.
  23. Tired from playing Runescape more due to the updates that improve the game play? \
  24. Step 1: Summon Pack Yak Step 2: Store 30 items in Yak Step 3: Dismiss familiar There ya go :P A drop all feature ^_^
