Buy shards on the forums. You might be able to get them for 15-16gp each when you include junk.

Last time I heard RSOF prices for shards it was 1m in cash and 600k junk for 64,000 shards (15.625 gp per shard) How many shards do you need for 99? 10m in cash and 6m of junk would get you 640,000 shards (more than half the amount needed for 99 [at my level])

I chopped Eucalyptus at Oo'glog when I got to 99. Was always very quiet there and never had to wait for trees.

It's supposed to be accessable to everyone, even level 3's with no quest points. It would be unfair to place it in a city which requires level requirements or quests to access. That is not the point of the game.

Its difficult to seperate because of so many variables of free usrrs. eg. Member but only ever trains f2p skills Was given members as gift but never logged into a members world at any point Members but only gained 1 exp in a p2p skill How would those people be seperated?

The Jagex response on the article page actually states that real world trading is against the rules.

The golden rule when complaining about bad grammar or spelling, is making sure that your own post is written in clear English and as perfect as possible. That aside, I kind of agree with your basic point in that a lot of people just post rubbish these days but I don't believe we need ant formal rules about this. Self regulation works for most people.

Would be nice if Jagex put in some controls over any new high levelled equipment so that not only can you not wear the stuff without doing a quest/have certain levels but you cant even trade it. This would prevent, to an extent, merchanting clans from buying/selling it just to make money with no intention of actually using it.

Your summoning level is 69 so the best thing you can swap with Bogrog is a Steel Minotaur pouch. At the time of writing it was 2218 gp on the GE and if my calculations are correct you get 99 shards back. They equals about 22.40 gp per shard. Not anywhere near as good as junk trading but better than nothing at all. I need about 295,766 shards to get to level 85 which would cost me 7,394,150 in a shop and 6,625,159 by swapping Steel Minotaurs (a saving of 768,991).

You need junk for that though. If you have no junk then buying specific pouches to swap with bogrog will be the best way for mass amounts of shards cheaper than store price.

Someone posted the link to the website that "little timmy" got phished on (it was a site with a player moderator application, including mod only skills and quests lol, on it) so I sent an email to their abuse department and it got removed in less than 2 minutes after sending the email. How ABC couldn't get it removed i'll never know.

Been no "filler" quests for 2 months. I assmued that was becasue of the new "mechscape" game that jagex is planning to release. This isn't an attack at Jagex or anything, it just seemed like common sense that they would divert resources temporarly to oversee the release of the new game, and make sure it went smoothly. Jagex hired all new people for MechScape. No resources ave been diverted away from Runescape.

The day you realise how important summoning is and how many charms you have wasted will be an interesting one indeed.

Plus you still need the shards, the tertiary ingredients and the pouches and then turn them into the relevant familiars. It's not like it gives direct summoning exp in the same rate at hitpoints.

You can still use a healing familiar, just not the Bunyip. You can use the, less good but better than nothing, Void Spinner which heals 1hp every 15 seconds.
