yes but you don't understand that noone will respect you with an untrimmed (or even trimmed) cooking or fletching cape, whereas untrimmed fishing IS respected as a cape. It's just totally illogical to get 99 cooking BEFORE fishing if you plan on making a serious attempt at it.

Have you considered selling the raw fish you catch and buying cheaper alternatives to cook?

Thieving is on par with firemaking. It's a really fast skill to get to 99 but requires attention and dedication. Thats why people rank it higher than cooking or fletching.

because if u cook the fish u get from 99 u wont make as much money as you would sellin them raw and when i get 99 fish i plan on selling everything raw Where is this magical raw fish gonna come from then if you plan on getting 99 cooking before the fishing, if you're not going to buy it? That's what you have to take into consideration too.

Adding a high level slayer monster would require a lot of time to blanace the game though. Lets face it, the only reason people want a high level slayer monster is not for the exp or the fun of fighting something new its because they want a new weapon or armour piece or something new they they can sell for millions. This needs to be carefully decided so as not to affect everything else. If it drops a new weapon which is better than the whip what will that do to the whip market? If it drops armour comparible to bandos or armadyl careful consideration must be made as to what might happen to the GWD. By releasing an intermediate slayer monster it gives the vast majority of poeple something new and nice to play with and it might even drop some nice items too but its not going to unfairly unbalance anything already in the game.

The problem with that argument Baukie is that Slayer isn't the only skill affected by the "everything is at low levels" problem. Many of the other skills, despite some having stuff at higher levels, pretty much require you to do the same low level thing over and over again for max efficiency/money.

So much whining from high level Slayers.. boo freaking hoo. The lowest level 78 slayer is ranked 72,872 out of 2,000,000!!! We all know you want a new high level slayer monster that drops some fantabulous weapon that you can sell for obscene amounts of money but you'll have to wait a bit longer, there are only 7,469 of you afterall. People are so elitist about Slayer it's depressing. I'm not whining that there isn't a fish I can catch at level 95 that heals 30 or perhaps an elder magic tree that I can cut its logs from to sell for 10 times the price of a magic one. The creature looks good and 78 is a good place to put it. My first thought on seeing it was that it looked like the bad guys (Aquaphibians) from Stingray (a marionette tv show from the mid 60s) but the boss dude was called Titan and there are already titan familiars so that's not really appropriate. Some kind of reference to the show would be cool though, in one of the episodes there was a temple called Tajmanon for example. Alternatively its clearly some kind of Angler fish/monster which comes from the latin family Ceratioidea. Perhaps some kind of variation on that could be used. Ceratidoid flashed in my mind.

I use the CharmPattern planner too so I have worked some stuff out using it for you along with some personal advice. This won't get you as much exp at the method Georgelemmons showed and probably cost more due to the extra charms but you will find the secondary incredients a lot easier to get hold of and working out how much of what to make and what level a lot easier too. You are level 52 now Firstly make 3800 of Spirit terrorbird with Gold charms. Then make 68 Spirit cobra with Crimsons (get snake hides from temple trekking, hardest person through easy route. skip all combat events except snakes and talon beasts as they provide a nice 1k exp for each talon charm dropped) This will take you to level 64 (407,193.4 exp) Then make 984 Stranger plant with Crimsons This will take you to level 69 (684,287.8 exp) Make 700 Bunyip with Greens. (fish your own sharks, these will be useful for slayer or collecting charms from monsters) Then make 650 Fruit bat with Greens. This will get you to level 71 (846,507.8 exp) Save the blues until at least level 79 for the titans. The total number of shards used to make all these pouches is 340,940 (8,523,500 gp) however you can swap some of the pouches you make for 70% of them back. You won't need any of those cobras or plants for example which will allow you to claim 93,688 shards back (equivalent to 2,342,200 gp). At your stage I wouldn't worry too much about having loads of shards left over in your bank for a while. You will still be a fairly low summoning level so you are bound to use any left over in the future. Buying all the 2nd ingredients will cost about 247,000 for the bird meats, 984,000 for the bagged plants, 27,300 for the bananas. So a total of 1,258,300 gp for all the secondary ingredients* *provided you collect the snake hides and sharks yourself

For the record, an untrimmed fishing cape will get you more respect than cooking or fletching combined. Kinda seems a bit foolish to me to get cooking before fishing. With the fish I cought to 99 I was able to get both 99 cooking and fletching.

They both suck and the only reason for getting 99 cooking is that you don't burn as much food as before. 99 fletching is pointless. For the record I fished monkfish to 99 fishing and then cooked them until I got 99 cooking and then sold all the raw fish I had left over and most of the cooked stuff for a nice profit. I found that I could catch about 3 monkfish in the same time as I could catch 1 shark (pre summoning). 3 monks (347)gp = 360 fish exp / 450 cook exp 1 shark (910gp) = 110 fish exp / 210 cook exp Bit of a no brainer for me.

Save those blues until at least level 83 for Lava titan. You won't regret the extra exp gained for waiting a bit longer.

Im starting to agree with you. I have 700 Green charms right now which would get me the following exp: Abyssal titan: 114,240 exp Unicorn stallion: 108,080 exp Difference of +6,160 exp making titans The horns would only cost me about 700k and shards about 700k too (after swap) so I think i'm just going to make them instead even though they cost twice as much to make. Its not worth the time wasted collecting the abyssal charms unfortunately. Shame on Jagex for at least making them unstackable.

Indeed. I for one do not like this growing trend of posting youtube videos for every little pointless thing. Using ancients in the abyss is a little expensive for me so I went to the abyssal area and hit up some of those walkers but it was still pretty slow. I only got 100 yesterday after several hours of being there. Maybe I just got unlucky with the drops.

It means I am unable to watch YouTube videos from where I am right now. I was able to understand roughly what was going on by reading the description but would have preferred for you to have written it out for me.

I would appreciate you actually posting rather than just providing a link to youtube. Did it not occur to you that perhaps some people can not access youtube all the time?

That's rubbish. For a start, I'm not a kid. Secondly, there is no honour in pking. You fight to win and if that means praying to hit harder/defend better or eating to heal then that's what i'll do. I'm not gonna die for the sake of it when I could win by eating and if you wanna flame me for it then that's fine by me. If you want to put rules on what you can/can't do in a fight then go to the duel arena.

Its a real pain. Methinks its about time you got stuff noted from shops. Before I could pay 70 gp in bulk on the GE and get the stuff almost right away or if I wanted to save a bit of cash I could get them myself it would just take a little longer. Shop prices have basically tripled and as they are based off the GE what's to stop it rising up to 100gp or more? Now not only do I have to walk back and forth to get the meat myself but I have to pay top whack for them too :(
