  1. Circus clothing. The green/brown audience type.
  2. Looks fun. I might attempt one myself :)
  3. Don't waste a brew to boost your HP before fighitng, instead go to oogloog and use the pool there and boost your stats with a sip of super defence/attack/strength. This will be useful for the initial spec. Don't waste your time with magic protect. It does nothing. If you can use the ancient curses then do that and use them to sap his magic, attack, defense and strength. Change to melee protect when he goes berserk. It doesn't stop him 100% but it helps. Save yourself some money and use black dhide. It costs a fortune to keep repairing barrows. See if you can borrow a BGS for the spec (it lowers his defense). The DDS is pretty pointless as he is immune to poison and his defense is so high to get any decent hits in. Stick with ranging for most of the way (other than the BGS spec). I tried several times with melee and failed each time. Use a combination of diamond (e) and ruby (e) bolts. Dont use ruby bolts before his 75 or HP-1 attacks incase they activate, switch to diamond instead. When he goes into berserk mode take off the sap magic prayer (it's a waste from here on in) and put on protect from melee. Change to your godsword at this point too. Good luck.
  4. You feel a strange power unleash itself upon you You feel a powerful horse snout nauseating yelp Horse riding :D
  5. Its a shame that there wasnt an option for 2200+ people.
  6. I dont have the bankspace to keep old quest items so most of them are dumped. If I ever need them again then Jagex will come up with a way of getting it back. I have kept some items though, Octopus and monkfish hats from penguin quest, and the sailors hat from the drunken sailor in port sarim. I've probably got a few other quest items but those are the only things I regularly use, usually when fishing.
  7. Must be a pretty big update for them to know it wont be out until next week, its only tuesday. I still call FT3 and bloom/particle effects.
  8. rofl. careful posting that. you will unleash a frenzy upon RSOF
  9. And when FT3 comes out tomorrow if MHL posts about it being a rubbish quest i'll shoot her in the foot :D
  10. Noone knows what they mean by "unique death mechanic" though. How do we know that they didn't mean Nomad? Afterall he's quite a unique fight.
  11. Interesting point. Tomorrows update could very well have nothing to do with the strange power. Perhaps that won't be revealed until a much later date.
  12. Fishing explosive A Fishing explosive is a Slayer item used for luring Mogres out of the water Super Fishing Explosive Same as Fishing Explosives except is causes 15 damage to the Mogre as it becomes lured. These items are similar to what you have mentioned but the one below is the closest... Holy water Holy water is a powerful Ranged weapon that is used just like throwing knives and darts You have interesting ideas but they could work just as well as a herblore addition than a new skill.
  13. I think people are reading are reading too much into us "facing the ritual site". I always face south when I log into Runescape but noone reads into that. Perhaps it's just a consequence of the emote being forced onto everyone that they then all face the same direction.
  14. Except there was NO earthquake! There was no rumble, there was no shaking. This "earthquake" is entirely player constructed.
  15. You can only renew a familiar when its timer is 2mins or less though.
  16. Ah yes, never thought of chopping ivy because im already 99 wc. edit: Nearest obelisk is by the GE/edge though. Not as close as Canifis. And doesnt an obelisk recharge special bar too?
  17. I'm not disputing that Jagex DO contact authorities on occasion. I am saying that this particular story has got more holes in it than a slice of leerdammer. Suicide is NOT a joking matter and I feel that this post is making a joke out of it. Prove me wrong, tell us your local police authority and we'll contact them.
  18. For a start this story seems complete BS. Police getting there in half an hour? They didnt come at all when I rang them to report someone weilding a baseball bat outside my house smashing in bins. This scenario would require Jagex systems to pick up on keywords such as "suicide" and escalates it to a Jagex staffer who double checks it wasn't a typo or the sorts. Then that Jagex staffer probably has to tell their line manager. That line manager will then have to do one of the following: Use the billing address on file (if p2p) to find out the address of the user. Then find out the local police department for where they live. This may or may not be the right number to call. For example where I like the station is only staffed for a few hours a day. Outside of those hours you would need to call the county wide police department. Then the police would have to see if a unit is close by and dispatch them to the house with the information they require. If the person is f2p or there is no p2p address on file (membership paid with prepaid cards for example) then it's a bit more complicated. Jagex cannot request from the ISP who owned a particular ip at any given time, this is something that only the police can do and even then I think they need a court order. Without any address information to hand it would be very difficult to find even the local police department of a user. There is no way on earth this could be done in half an hour. If the story is true then I applaud Jagex for their efforts in trying to prevent something which could have been very disastrous leading to the loss of life. However it smells too much like bulls stuff to me.
  19. I dont really care for machinima videos but I do like recording events that me and my friends do and this would be really good for that.
  20. Mercifull replied to mhj31's topic in Help and Advice
I used a Bandos GS special and then alternate between ruby and diamond (e) bolts. The diamond ones are crucial to avoid the spec activating on rubies just before he does his HP-1 or 75 hits. I died several times to Nomad when meleeing but killed him with ranging on my first try and I was the same level as you.
  21. Mind translating that into English? "Boo hoo I can't train strength with an Abyssal whip"
  22. Exactly. Using fruit bat near to a bank is a silly way of getting papayas. It's not as fast as the noting method and it's noisy and annoying for others. The best method is probably to have a huge bunch of scrolls in your inventory as well as a handful of extra pouches then going Canifis (if the lepra lets you note tree fruit there) and just activating the scroll and noting the papayas and pineapples. There is a summoning obelisk very close and a bank not too far away if you run out of scrolls/pouches too. You could also do a bit of herb and allotment farming at the same time.
  23. Tip: Use a combo of Ruby bolts (e) and Diamond bolts (e). Only use Ruby ones when you know you are safe from the 75 or HP-1 attacks. use Diamond (e) the rest of the time. they are expensive but you only need about 100 of them to take him down. Worth spending more on one attempt than failing over and over trying to kill him without.
  24. Useful guide but I still kinda did my own way. I did the ranging method and set up the brews/restores like suggested but I didn't bother trying to hide behind the pillar, I was still getting hit for loads and wasnt firing anything back at him so decided to tank it instead. Blue cape :)
  25. Absolutely epic... worth every penny i spent on potions lol
