  1. Okay... Try taking super defense potions aswell as a range pot - saves you eating as much. If you're fighting meleers alot, throw in rune legs instead of dhide legs. Get rid of the blitz - its useless casting it in Dhide. Also try a recoil ring - they help a fair bit. Other than that make sure that your msb/rune arrows swaps are good, and keep the dstone.. but possibly use normal rune bolts to lower the enemies hp, then swap to dstone. Good luck!
  2. Calm the flaiming - tis an awesome vid and GJ on the series UL. Running GMT BH high crater on P2P i hear. Although im sure Brut give you some trouble at least? OT: Great vid. Not best music, great editing as usual and good loot.
  3. WoF had a nice mix of styles and did well against a big number disadvantage. Good job WoF and good win Faith.
  4. yup :P +2 You could define any type of bounds in any of the maps.. aslong as it was multicombat with SOME tanking obstacles.
  5. I would much rather look at a clans PKRI record than there warring record. Mainly because on PK trips reaction times are usually alot more important than how long someone can tank.
  6. Wow skatedog... Only thing i can add really is limits. Clan wars have limits, PKRI's dont. Styles, time, returning, bounds etc etc. If your clan can dominate the time or returning ability in a PKRI thats great... but does it mean you're a better combat clan? I'd say warring, although i lean more towards PKRI, warring just makes more sense.
  7. I agree with most of that. Except that last time RSC sent in a few people in full rune to tank tipit. Although organised piles weren't at its best as lets be honest - its not easy to organise a whole fansite - we KO'd him (126 combat full rune) in about 10 seconds. When you're tanking that many people there isn't much you can really do. Either way yes organisation > numbers. But when you start pulling insane numbers organisation doesn't mean that much.
  8. So no rush kills? Alot of pures were built on them sort of kills... unlucky to pures eh? Even so i know nothing about how it will be made impressive. I don't even dare to speculate. All sorts of players have views on what is impressive. A high lucky hit with dharoks? An extremely high hit knocking 100% of the players HP in 1 go with a dark bow? A team of players TBing then ancienting a guy for 20 levels of wilderness against 10+ brews? Or a drawn out closely fought match where one player just tips an advantage? I suppose it's JaGeX that makes the final call so my view doesn't matter on it :
  9. Great win gladz, looked like a good fight on the video.
  10. LOL! Thats what was on my mind as i was reading through. Tipit has been often thought of as a skillers fansite... Well with clans wars' update out we talk about potions and profit making by chiselling granite. Doesn't give ya much hope. OT: Love the new update, the bind option is brilliant for melee only/binds matches. But i don't know how many clans will still use the CWA selected areas with the FFA out. Which was a great idea to base the top part of the map on the old f2p wilderness. Greaters house & lava lake. Love it JaGeX.
  11. A few typo's in the god's names just above ^^ Try: JaGeX: A confusing subject indeed, it should be noted that most adventurers talk of this being as a god, responsible for creation of all of runescape as well as the confusing and often conflicting rules that this world follows. As a result, dispite their immense power and supreme judgement, they are seen as an evil god. Before Zamorak is blamed for death and Bandos is blamed for destruction, the most common phrase, interestingly, is to blame JaGeX for making it unfair and too hard. Before Guthix is blamed for the changing of the eternal rules of runescape, JaGeX is blamed for nerfing the activity. Before Saradomin is blessed for removing the evils of the world and making the game easier and more concrete, removing fear of failure, JaGeX is verbally lynched for removing the wildy and introducing the GE. Very funny though
  12. For a start wanted a better community that the average scaper. Secondly - some fun events. Finally wanted some people to back me up in trips to the wildy. Admittedly i chose the wrong clan for actual wildy events, but i found some good people and made a small team with other players.
  13. <3 the banner... Looks so eligant : Free post here, gl and gj on goals. Notice i wasn't mentioned in your posts in july 2007.... So that coal and iron ore was cheap for nothing eh? Ah wells, Your still a noob to me... oh and get 99 wc.
  14. Some clans had very few binders when pking only pkri because Blasts=better chance of loot. Read what i put again. Some clans don't have binders, but some do. If the binders did there job most of the time the loot was split (In my experience).
  15. The only problem with this ofc is that its based on WAR rules. In PKRI - as red said - all styles were used. So if you clashed unpreparred... bad luck. But i disagree with him about the binds factor - most f2p teams and clans i PKed with brought binds. The person who often got the kill would split a bit (if full rune usually a kite or helm) with the binder. Admittedly if you have several binders its alot more difficult - but not impossible to split it.
  16. Good luck peter and sakura. Run it well and best of luck
  17. The gnome: We could delve into the many histories and lores of the gnomes, but in a face to face confrontation it's not going to help you. The gnomes are small people, often seen riding terrorbirds. They have a mysterious link with travelling runescape, but have yet to use the most obvious route - walking. They instead choose to Fly, burrow or sail the world in search of the answer to why the "Tall people" insist on bothering them. The gnomes are over-all a force for good in the world, but as good and evil and merely perspectives this means nothing in the grand scheme of things (See saradomin's lost love child). According to an anonymous source in ardougne's castle "...the gnomes would make a great ally if they could stop backstabbing eachother and grow up a little..". This was taken out of context by the gnomes and resulted in a large amount of rampant terrorbirds being let loose just outside ardougne zoo. Didn't take long but i just did for a bit of fun :
  18. He's in ZP and TSA. And i'm pretty sure (As ex staff in TSA) that we've done pking. #-o
  19. Measly pure? Ah cmon surely you don't mean that. Pures are (within some question in comparison to range tanks) the best at there combat level. Thats the main reason they exist. OT: Not the best article. Wasn't really in-depth, but it gave a basic view of the economy and how changes are effecting it. Loved the DYK - is a great idea.
  20. I find it funny you liked that update when in your signature your quoting someone (Im guessing your friend) who is part of the clan world. How do i know this? I interviewed him when he was joining the clan he is in. He's even one of my friends. =D> So basically just p*ss on your friends and think for yourself? Or looking at the economy after the update the price of potions, runes and armour dropped - which made skilling alot less worthwhile. Admittedly they had to combat RWT... But you gave the wrong reasons for liking the updates. Oh and btw, pures are still around in BH. Majority of low crater and the highest ranked mid crater are pures. E_D_G_V_1_L -- Actually recently got 70 def, but was "owning" it up as a pure. OT: I think that with behind the scenes we get an insight into the updates which could cause too much hype. But we also get to see whats happening, which makes alot of people feel involved. So if you estimate an update too highly - it's only your fault it doesn't live up to your own expectation.
  21. Its pretty obvious why high levels are aiming for 50 RC. The Rewards from the minigame. A new staff that is a beast when it comes to tanking in F2P. New robes that are already being favoured over druid by some F2P warrers purely because of the stats (Yes druidic has the set effect - but sometimes you don't have time to go full hybrid). I thought that was pretty obvious.. Why not go for 54... because they only need 50. :wall:
  22. Found a vid of a matched opts between EoS and RSD that reminded me of this thread. http://files.filefront.com/Eos+Vs+Rsdwmv/;11586487;/fileinfo.html All styles allowed.
  23. What'd we get last Christmas? A cool snowglobe that gives us snowballs that you can pelt people? Or cutting down dramatically on RWT and cheating? The new "Kill a target minigame" and clan wars areas had alot of speculation on them. But... they were reduced to: An update that at first annoyed single pkers. Then after a few re-thinks slammed clans to the floor. I mean why not just have the old wildy... with generated drops in the first place? Yeah ALOT of people would complain... but clans would still war with returning and rune sets lost and single pkers would still get some form of loot. Im not hatin' on jagex but.. the record isn't great.
