  1. Yes, takes almost twice as much time to boot as 9.04. After the boot it's noticeably faster though.
  2. It took me SEVEN hours to install this. From 5 pm to midnight. Insane. Here are a few I noticed: - For me, it actually boots MUCH slower. 9.04 booted in 1 min and 10 seconds, 9.10 requires about 2 mins. - The RAM usage seems to be lower, which is a good thing. - The CPU usage also seems to be lower. - My laptop's volume control "wheel" also seems to work now. Great. - For some reason, the Firefox icon in the bar at the top is invisible now. - Many icons are changed. This can be either good or bad, for me it is bad.
  3. I just got disconnected from the server and can't reconnect. I guess everyone is trying to upgrade at once...
  4. So, Ubuntu 9.10 has been officially released. New features include: "Ubuntu One", which gives you 2 GB of free online storage. This can be very useful. Though I don't need it as I already have a Dropbox account. Empathy messenger instead of Pidgin. I don't know how good it is, so can't say anything about this. ext4 filesystem as a default, instead of ext3' It's quicker than ext3, supports larger volumes and such. Old installations still have ext3 if you upgrade them to 9.10. I'm currently upgrading my Xubuntu installation, but it's not very quick... Well, what about you other Ubuntu users? Already upgraded, upgrading now or later?
  5. I don't have a problem with these as I run Linux. :)
  6. From patch notes... "Updated some ore rocks around Ardougne." This means that the only RS Classic graphic still remaining is the yellow/red cross which appears when you click.
  7. In this case, nope. The only problem I've noticed is that sometimes the control panel works slowly. That's pretty rare though. They're called favicons. Add this code somewhere on the pages: <link rel="icon" href="/favicon.gif" type="image/gif"> The favicon should be 32x32 pixels. PNG or GIF files can be used (remember to change GIF to PNG in the code if you use that). Upload it in the same folder as the pages.
  8. Only 38 days and four hours here. 916 hours. I expected 1000, so I was pretty close. XP per hour would be... ~13k only?
  9. Not too bad for a 5 min clue, 177k :) Last time I got a level 1 clue as good as this was in early 2007

I usually check the post count, if the post contains a link. I don't trust people with only a few posts, if they post a link.
  11. Have you tried the restarting your computer with the power button?
  12. It's possible to do this without any PHP/CSS at all: <!--#include file="navbar.html" --> However, for this to work, you must save every single page you use this on as shtml. That basically means changing the extension from html to shtml. Pretty easy. Your navbar code should work with this without any problems. By the way, if you want a good free host, I suggest this one. Much better than Webs.
  13. http://services.runescape.com/m=avatar-rs/playername/full.gif Change playername to your own username.
  14. Yep, I have an avatar. I hate that smile.
  15. Don't be so sure about that... I'm pretty sure that at least one game on FunOrb uses that font in the menus.
  16. I'll have to wait until tomorrow so I can get some penguin points :( And I need to do Monk's Friend. Too bad, I was going to do it as my last quest before quest cape.
  17. I've played for over four years and my best drop so far is a snapdragon seed <_<
  18. I tried MTK for the first time and also did 100% fish 50% herbs. In one day, I got these: Not too bad... why have I never tried this before? <_<
  19. The first article is probably the best ever in Tip.It Times! Ts_Stormrage gets a GigaThumb for that I was lucky to buy a Dragon hatchet when it still was 1.6M - if I hadn't done that, it would be out of my reach now. Stupid 26k/76k'ers. I really hope Jagex does something to this.
  20. The reason you shouldn't share your accounts...

I'm still trying to beat this... It took me nearly 10 years to beat even the first one, but there are still three more games left. Actually I like these good old games just because of their difficulty, I can beat most new games in 5-10 hours. No one makes hard games anymore. It's all about the graphics now.
  22. Reformat = delete and re-install everything
  23. My bank is a total mess. Most of the stuff is also useless (old quest items from years ago, empty buckets/pots/whatever, noob equipment...) [hide=I warned you...][/hide]
  24. Have you ever seen an evil magic tree as empty as this? Only five people for the whole time
