  1. If you want a pretty unique fire type, you can get a level 35 Darmanitan with the Zen Mode ability when you reach Icirrus City in the winter. Talk to the wife of the ex-Team Rocket member in the house you can only reach by crossing the snow, then take the item she gave you to the statues outside the Relic Castle to fight one. Normally you can't do this until after the Elite 4, but in the winter you can do it as soon as you reach Icirrus. Also, finally got my first Dream World pokémon, a Farfetch'd with the move Roost and the ability Defiant. Pretty terrible, but it was either that or a Rattled Poochyena or a Hustle Rattata. Time to load up my other save and try again.
  2. Gah, I can connect just fine, I'm all set up and registered on the website, my Pokémon is shown as sleeping, yet when I go to the Dream World site the flash thing doesn't seem to load at all.

  7. In regards to my supposed territory, please consult the middle word in my badge. You can't run from me .
  8. Did some cleaning. Please carry on with the topic (within Tip.It forum rules, obviously). -Necromagus, Tip.It Mod.
  9. I believe that as long as you don't delete the wonder card, you can pick it up again on a new save game. Not 100% on that though.
  10. I use an Action Replay device. It's how most people on Youtube post videos of their Wi-Fi videos: Save your wi-fi battle to the VS recorder, back up your save file, open the save file in an emulator, and replay the battle. As for Clay, both times now I tore through him using grass pokémon using drain moves and the Big Root item. They really jacked up the power of Giga Drain in this generation, and Maractus actually gets it fairly early.
  11. So I've backed up my save file and started a fresh game. While planning out my party I couldn't help but notice how there are relatively few lines of water Pokémon in this game's national dex, especially compared to generations 3 and 4. My theory: it's mainly because Unova is filled with bridges, thus reducing the number of surfing routes. Because there are so few surfing routes, the game needs fewer water pokémon, since the abundance of water pokémon in the last two generations that were added in a vain attempt to make the surfing routes slightly less monotonous.
  12. I've cleaned the topic. Feel free to continue discussing the matter at hand, within forum rules of course. -Necromagus, Tip.It Mod.
  13. Right, some users (note the plural here) have come very close to crossing the line in this topic over the past 30 minutes. I suggest that those users give themselves a brief timeout to make sure there are no further misunderstandings. -Necromagus, Tip.It Mod.
  14. But I feel I'm growing older, and the songs that I have sung echo in the distance like the sound of a windmill going round. I guess I'll always be a soldier of fortune.
  15. Soldiers and dolls won't give away my childhood dreams. I was a pirate, I conquered, and I sailed free.
  16. I really don't think this thread can be salvaged. A general warning to everybody in this thread who got sucked in to the flaming and name calling, and a lock to put this thread out of its misery. -Necromagus, Tip.It Mod.
  17. Towed it to the right forum for you. -Necromagus, Tip.It Mod.
  18. Mother Goose actually. Thanks for playing.
  19. Rats in the garden, catch'em Tauser. Cows in the cornfield, run boys run. Cats in the creampot, stop her now, sir! Fire on the mountain, run boys run!
  20. I'm doing the Super Single Train at the moment. Highest I've gotten so far is 45, when I lost very stupidly to a Typhlosion. I led with my TTar. It was faster and used Sunny Day. My Stone Edge missed, his Solar Beam didn't. It then proceeded to OHKO my Excadrill because it didn't outspeed it without sand, and my Whimsicott, with flamethrower. As for my fighting weakness, I'm considering switching my TTar out for a bulky Hippowdon.
  21. I've been trying my hand at the singles battle subway with the following team: Tyranitar (adamant, sand stream, choice band) - Crunch - Stone Edge - Earthquake - Dragon Claw Excalidrill (jolly, sand throw, air balloon) - Swords Dance - Earthquake - Rock Slide - X-Scissor Whimsicott (timid, prankster, leftovers) - Encore - Leech Seed - Substitute - Giga Drain Tyranitar hits pretty much anything like a tank. Excadrill outspeeds pretty much anything with sand up, and has some very effective moves for revenge killing. Whimsicott is mainly there to cover my weakness to bulky water types. I've had some very interesting stall wars with it. Unfortunately, I'm left with a pretty big fighting weakness. Not sure what I'll do to overcome that yet.
