I've cleared the cache, but no luck so far. Can't access the forums, constant timeouts logging in, and the Runescape toolbar for my browser isn't updating either. Judging from the time it's stuck on, these problems began 18 hours ago.

Yeah, no, that's not how the process works. Take it from somebody who has been through it :).

Did you have it set to 100% wood collection? I've gone mine set to 100% Herb 50% wood I have nine workers on maples, six on herbs. When you collect after ten days while keeping your approval up all the while, nine or ten workers on maple will yield the exact same amount of nests. I've gotten 80 nests (52 seeds, 5 eggs, 23 rings).

That's from 52 seed nests from ten days of managing my kingdom.

The guide mentions that Sigmund will use Protect from Melee when you attack him. However, if you range him, he will keep up protect from ranged. He does not switch prayers, so you will have to switch to a different attack style. If you didn't bring a melee weapon or runes, you'll have to fight him bare-handed, which can be risky. Also, after freeing Zanik and passing Yuna, you will have to hop across a stepping stone. If you fail, you will fall into the water. This will extinguish certain light sources, and you can't get an oil lamp from Zanik. If you can't relight your light source, you'll have to run all the way back to the Lumbridge castle basement. If you die, Zanik will be waiting for you with Yuna.

From the guide: I found this very vague, and the method described didn't really work with me. Here's what worked for me: 1) Talk to the goblins as soon as the guard runs off. Tell one of them to stay, and lead the other into the side room. 2) Once the first two guards have engaged the goblin you left behind, leave the room and walk into the hallway with the crates. A new yellow dot will appear on the minimap, walking towards you. 3) Move back towards the door, and head north. Make sure the goblin following you is to the south of you. The guard coming around the corner will see him first and engage him. 4) Head towards the fourth guard. As soon as his dot on the minimap starts moving, run back towards the side door but do not enter it. Stand behind the goblin fighting the third guard, and the fourth guard will start fighting him too. If the guard gets stuck behind the crates, lead him around it like you would another aggressive monster.

In the section on fixing the Dwarven battleaxe, you have to take it to Thurgo to get it fixed. The guide suggests using the mine carts to travel to the Dwarven mines and run south. However, a much faster way to travel there without too many requirements is using the cabbage-port option on the Explorer's ring 3. If you have a house portal in Rimmington or have completed Love Story, you can also teleport to that house portal. Also, when you need to get some ores for a company and you don't have any banked, it's probably faster to head over to the Grand Exchange in a minecart than it is to actually mine them. Allso, this might be a nitpick, but I got to speak to the director after only four tasks (four clay, five silver, five silver and three iron).

It may be a stupid question, but how much cash do you have in your coffers? If your subjects can't take anything out, they can't work for you. I personally keep 750k GP in the coffers at all times. Your subjects need 75k a day to produce the maximum amount of resources, and they'll only take ten percent of the current cashpile in the coffers. My personal strategy is to wait ten days before collecting, then selling everything and depositing another 750k back into the coffers, giving me 1.5m total. I check back every day, and when the coffers are down to 750k again I collect, sell and refund.

Title says it all really. My combat level is ranged-based, but I need to get up some of my melee levels. At the moment I have the following melee stats: -60 attack -56 strength -70 defence -74 constitution My goals are 70 attack (Abyssal whip and Barrows melee weapons) and 60 strength (access to the God Wars dungeon). At the moment I'm training on the Undead Ones outside Shilo, using a Salve Amulet (e) and Brackish Blade, along with combat potions I had left over from my herblore training. I've considered going back to using slayer to train with melee (I melee'd my Mazchna tasks to get my full slayer helmet), but that would mean I'd probably have to drop back to Vanneka or even Mazchna. Should I just keep killing Undead Ones, or are there better ways to train melee with my levels, either with or without slayer?

You can go here and spend three quest help points to get the exact combination of spices you need (the combination that's unique to you), rather than go through the trial and error. It will save a lot of time. You still need to test the stew with Evil Dave though.

I've killed about 50 black dragons throughout my entire RS career, and none of the higher levelled ones. Today I was randomly reminded of the evil chicken lair, and decided I had nothing better to do than to check it out. To do so I had to get a few magic levels, do Family Crest and start Legends' Quest. After 11 kills, this happened: It certainly beat my previous best drop of a cut dragonstone off a fire giant.
