  1. Yes, exactly how I feel. If he is being honest and didnt macro, then great and good on him. However, what about those people who arent so fortunate to have better contact with Jagex and have no appeal?
  2. I think thats more people trying to feed their egos with business jargon. I seriously lol at some people who have a GCSE or an A Level in Business Studies (UK people will get that), trying to look like some highly successful business entrepreneur by making some completely irrelevent comparisons from RS to RL
  3. I thought locked/banned accounts restricted you from joining their clan chat? I can get in Goldmerch right now.
  4. Yes, but for everywhere else in the world, including the server it happened on (Australian if I remember correctly) and Jagex's headquarters in the UK, this event occurred on 7/6/06. Oh wait, I forgot - America rules the world
  5. It actually happened on 7/6/06. You're a day too early.
  6. They always test content before release. A few employees certainly cant find every bug in comparison to thousands of players, some of who specifically go out to find and abuse bugs.
  7. And im hoping for some new content for all the 90-99 stats I have, too. Im glad you're saying you arent going to complain, because yes at the end of the day its new content. I do think they need to implement new higher leveled content to some skills, and Jagex have even told us in the first Q&A session that they were going to work on this. However, in order of priority, Slayer should be right down the list. We have skills that havent been touched for years. Slayer has a level 90 monster which was released 1-2 years ago? As well as Soul Wars, which is a slayer-based minigame. I just think your Herblores and Farmings need more of an incentive to raise it past 82 and 85 respectively.
  8. So when we had all these new pots such as magic essence, summoning potions etc, they were right or wrong to have them as a lower level requirement? Not all updates are going to be high level. They have to cater for lower, too. 78, in my opinion, is midway between low and high.
  9. The key problem of slayer is, that we don't have anything to look forward to after lvl 90 (or perhaps, even after lvl 85), and we have a crap load of monsters in the lvl range that this new monster is in. Jagex should bridge the gap in the higher level region, and not add yet another low levelled monster. There's so much low levelled content.. before you've done it all, you're a high level and find it boring. So? I dont have anything to look forward to after 82 herblore and im 99, as I said previously in this post, these skills need fixing first. Slayer already has a level 90-required monster. 78 is a decent, intermediate requirement for any skill.
  10. Lol @ people "expecting" a 95+ slayer monster. It was your choice to raise it beyond 85-90. Whilst I do agree that Jagex needs some high level content for skills, Slayer would be towards the end of my list. 90 for a monster is pretty high (dark beast); fix skills such as herblore, hunter, farming etc. A new monster at 78 slayer is actually a pretty decent idea by Jagex. Sort of puts it in an 'intermediate' category.
  11. Theres a difference between wanting something and physically doing it. The fact that people were anticipating it to come out yesterday, then rioting and posting all over the RSOF whining when it wasnt, most probably forced Jagex to have no alternative but to release it today
  12. Expected, since people cant be patient and wait for it to be fully tested before release.
  13. Glad to see they're fixing market manipulation. Its getting out of hand now
  14. Yes, but they've been dumped now. Prepare to watch them plummet.
  15. The reason for the recent bugs, is because they are still having to rush content, due to all the whining and complaining about lack of updates. If you cant wait for an update, expect a bug here or there. If you want a quality, bug-free update, then learn some patience.
  16. Its a loophole, not bug abuse or rule breaking. However, after two recent updates to the pvp world drop potential (no fun weapons/air strike), I think its pretty damn obvious Jagex doesnt approve of it. Therefore, why do idiots feel the need to find and post alternatives just because they're too lazy to get drop potential the way it was designed? Another case of Runescapes broken community shines brightly
  17. this Quoting yourself. Fail.
  18. Level 138 2130 total with a full-time job as a personal trainer and acceptance into the fire service reporting in :
  19. 1) No rollback. What happens if you lose connection during a fight? Youll lose your stuff. Same principle here. I know it wasnt fair, but you ALWAYS run some risk of dying when PvP'ing. The players warrant a ban though, no questions asked. 2) When will people realise that the fally massacre happened on the 7th? Thats going by Europe, Africa, Australia (Jagex HQ is in the UK as you all know). Oh yeah, just because in America it was the 6th
  20. Everyone except you.
  21. Jagex 'stealing' TET ideas?
  22. Well considering this is posted all over the RSOF and all the fan-site forums, Jagex wont mess up.
  23. I for one am glad Jagex made it public. It affected thousands of players, and people wanted to be informed of the outcome. Funny how just last month, everyone complained that Jagex kept matters "secretive" and that they should inform players on certain matters.
  24. The decision everyones been waiting for:- =D>
