Can we save money from Budget reset to the next? I don't think there's any harm to that, since we're not using deployable armies anymore (where you only pay for deployment, not the actual training etc.)

If people actually intend to use the Library, so be it. I don't have anything against the Library, and if it becomes separate, and active, that's good. I think, however, that we can safely remove Rusco then, seeing as that was Archi's creation, and he has decided that. By the way Sere, I know most of what you were typing in Russian is harmless, but you're not allowed to post in another language without a translation. Just so it doesn't happen again. EDIT: This being said, at this point in time I have no idea how to allow people to post in the Library. Archi, could you explain that to me over PM?

It gets rid of Forum Clutter. How does it make a mess? If anything, it makes it more viable. If someone decides to restart a thread from Falador Library, if it was still in the Library, nothing would come of it. If someone tried to restart, for example, Alanmark, while it was in Falador Tavern, it would actually have a chance for it to work. It's just basically tif policy to not have old defunct forums sitting around for no reason. I don't see the purpose of having a forum that's been abandoned for essentially a year still around. The reasoning for not doing it is just that someone might revive a roleplaying thread from a vaguely different roleplaying thread, apparently causing mass pandemonium. As said by a mod earlier on in the thread, it's tip.it policy to reevaluate forums every now and again and see if it makes more sense for some to be merged, deleted, etc.

So at this point here are the possible options: Delete Falador Library and Rusco Merge Falador Library and Rusco, switch those to a subforum of this (Probably not happening, defeats the purpose of the change almost) Merge all into Falador Tavern, which, for the record, would be pretty much unnoticeable to us. Falador Archive-Still leaves us with an extra, and mostly pointless subforum. Even though the tavern and Library were planned to be different things, that's not how it turned out, so in the end they're basically the same. What's a reason for not merging other than sentimental reasons, or it 'not feeling right' As it stands now, no one plays or uses any thread or game in Rusco, or the Falador Library, so keeping them as they are now would be pointless. And no, this isn't Admins trying to take more power away, if you've noticed they recently merged a few forums in the runescape section, and do this whenever forums 'die'

Personally I would still prefer either merging everything, since it would be unnoticeable, or "deleting" old stuff. The reason it's in quotations is that nothing is ever really deleted, and can always be recovered on request.

Would this be an acceptable decision: New forum: Falador Archives Rusco & Library merged into Archives. All "Historical" threads go to that forum. So, Dungeoneering( If it's not revived), all the successful Hegemony descendants, etc. and are stickied. Very old threads also go to that forum, but aren't stickied, so they fall to the bottom. That sound reasonable?

Sure, but maybe compensate country's that don't get them with some more army, to be fair. Unless everyone gets them.

I've unlocked the Dungeoneering thread. If you all want to move this thread to there by reposting the first post, etc. you now have that option. If not, continue using this thread.

This would be a lot less confusing if it wasn't merged with Dungeoneering, as your "first post" would be near impossible to find if we merged it with Dungeoneering, and where the story would start would be hard to find.

As evidenced, I moved 19 threads from the library as a test to this forum, and I see no difference at all (I can always move them back if needed). If spammers "Invade" that's what moderators and Admins are for. For the record, this wasn't even an Admin's idea.

Well, the admins in general don't like leaving unused forums/subforums sitting around forever, even if it might "clutter" another forum. As a test, I moved most of the Falador Library threads into this forum, to see if it's at all noticeable. It's not, in my opinion, so the only real change would be that we would no longer be a subforum. The Merged forums would probably be called the Falador Tavern.

For the same reason why we don't delete every thread that hasn't been used lately. We only have 5 pages worth of threads even if we merge the forums, so an Archive forum is unnecessary. Also, I doubt you've noticed, but I just, for reference, moved a good 20 threads from Falador Library to Tavern (I can easily move them back if needed). The forum is not in any way more cluttered. However, an Archive Thread would be possible, where I make a list of all the successful but defunct roleplays, and then make a thread with links to all of them, that way we don't have an unnecessary forum, and clutter is dealt with.

Thread's merged do not go to the top of the page. All of the threads from that forum would go straight to the last page, and be completely unnoticeable. There is honestly no reason to keep a subforum/forum that no one has used for a year. Thread necromancers would cause havoc, if anyone actually were to have some reason to necro a post. Which they don't. And if they do, it's simple to deal with for a moderator if the post is unnecessary. Falador Library is defunct, there is no reason for it to be it's own subforum, or forum, since no one uses it. Everything in that forum is covered by this forum, so a merge makes perfect sense.

That's why there's an option to keep Rusco seperate. Personally, I support the following: Remove the outdated Falador Libary, and all threads from there go to falador tavern. All purposes of the Library are served by the Tavern, and it's inactivity shows that. Rusco is a subforum, should that game ever be restarted.

Reason being? Falador Library has not had any posts in games since 10 months ago. I don't think there's going to be a massive outcry.

That's kinda how it should work though, if no one has played one of their roleplays (which are actually less 'hardcore' than many of ours in terms of gameplay) since September of last year, then I don't see any real reason for them to have a spot on any front page. If someone wants to find or revive one, they can find them pretty easily, this forum only has a few pages of topics.

Well, Library has been unused for two months, and that was basically just people asking if anyone else was still around. Falador Library hasn't seen real activity though since about 9 months ago. Rusco has been slightly more active, with a few scattered posts two months ago.

Are there any colonies that give better bonuses? Like if we have a profitable sugar colony or something?

Falador Library and Rusco have remained unused for quite some time, would anyone have any qualms with adjusting the forum's layout, so we don't have a few unused forums? If we like, we could merge the Library into the Tavern, and have the Tavern be the main forum, rather than a subforum.

What if you give me 2m and I pay you back 2.4m next reset? That sound fair? Will that eliminate the need for the loan to you from me?
