  1. I assume the troops will be replaced? Revolutionary celebrations begin, and the troops are given a few months to recover and rest. Major amounts of revolutionary writers, and speechmakers begin spreading dissent and revolutionary activity to the Northern provinces of France, including Paris. Prussia is asked to leave Paris.
  2. Let Napoleonic Hegemony finish first. Then I was hoping to give one of my versions of Hegemony a try, and seeing as we can't actually fight in this game, I doubt it's gonna go to well.
  3. I'm kinda liking in these more pre-modern age games that we can't just go "I launch all my ICBM's" everytime we get mad, or get into an argument.
  4. Plus many people cannot read, so speeches and rallies are the best way to get the word out. Many flyers are pictures rather than words for this purpose.
  5. Wait, what revolutionaries? I never had an army before yesterday or so. EDIT: Oh, do you mean the ones who would likely attack your troops? I mean it this way. They are my people, but they aren't part of an army so I can't order them around just like that. But if you walked two Russia Commies into a normal american town in the 50's, they'd be torn apart. But would that be the government doing it? No. If China were, right now, to tell the US to surrender Alaska and Hawaii, and split itself into two different countries, and then pay for any troops the Chinese would need to enforce that, Americans wouldn't care because China hadn't actually done anything, right? I'm done with analogies for the day.
  6. I've mentioned the speeches and pamphlets talking about the Prussian's "deal" since you first offered it, I think. Unless it was only in a PM to dusty I mentioned it. I forget. Either way, most of revolutionary France hates Prussia, is ambivalent to Austria, and doesn't care much about anyone else. Ambivalent toward Austria because they attacked france, but they attacked the imperials and weakened them. It's up to dusty, but I'd assume that most of the revolutionaries just want to deal with France, and be left alone by foreigners.
  7. Considering much of that is fairly opposite of what we've been spreading, it shouldn't have much effect. Especially the bit about women, given that women are now equal to men under the law, and given the same rights. Considering the speeches, which is most of what we are doing, pamphlets back them up, are given by well known revolutionaries, and they've been speaking about prussias offer, and have been for months before you came in, having 500 hated prussians march through our lands will result in their death by mobs. Almost guaranteed, not even of my doing.
  8. This being said, I will not promise peace to anyone (other than my allies, naturally), especially one who has threatened me unprovoked. Doesn't mean I'm going to attack you, but making any promises in this game that could be broken will only make my countrymen mad, as will being threatened by another country and bowing to their will.
  9. But that's done with, and fair warning is out now. In that case, no real harm was done, except to weaken the monarchy.
  10. Sure, I'm in. Had a lot of fun with this in real life, though doing this in text form may be challenging.
  11. Archi, should you or anyone Invade my country, Imperial or Revolutionary, it will be the end of your country. I have had no plans to attack anyone, so trying to nip the conflict in the bud has only served to worsen relations, especially in of that you, before any troops even fought in battle, asked France to surrender it's colonies, and permanently cripple both Imperial, and Revolutionary France. Not only this, but you asked for us to pay the deployment costs of your troops, before they even fought us. Those are terms to give after one is the victor, not after. Pamphlets and revolutionary speeches now include words about the defeat of the Monarchy's Great army, proving that they can not only be defeated, but they can't be relied upon to defeat us.
  12. So are you done with attacking France?
  13. So are you really feeling like fighting a war against me and my allies?
  14. Edel, want to get out while you still can? France is France. Revolutionary and Imperial are just ideas.
  15. The national assembly adopts the declaration of the rights of man and the citizen, including more rights for women than the "real" one, given the recent women's march. Revolutionaries get even angrier after Prussia's threats against our country, their hypocritical policies will only lead to their downfall.
  16. No, I have my budget of 10m a year, and then Imperial France has a budget. Imperial France is my enemy.
  17. But not everyone in the game. Considering everyone already wants to team up on me, I'm more worried than you all.
  18. Oops, I was looking at the Second Bulgarian empire thing in your sig when I wrote that. How do you really expect me to be a big threat?. Everyone nowadays know how Napoleon won his wars, and you can read all his tactics with a click of the mouse. It was something totally new, or atleast something not used en masse, in reality, and that's why it was dangerous. Kinda like how in YOH the black plague was met by society's of hand washing ship burners who knew what to do magically.
  19. My Revolutionaries express concern to theNetherlands peasantry about these recent events and urge them to take action against the monarchy.
  20. A book called "The Flaw of Monarchy" has been published, outlining the problems with a system where the rulers are based in blood, rather than merit. It is distributed to the following provinces. Speeches are given in those same provinces, and we purchase 20,000 of the standard rifle/musket, and enough gunpowder and shots. How much should all of this cost me?
  21. How does that even make sense? You just had a semi revolution of you're own, where you atleast tried to make life better for your peasants, and modernize your country. Invading another country to stop a revolution will only cause your peasants to get pissed off, and even more of mine. Your ideas for invading wouldn't even work, it's not like revolutionaries are wearing giant sashes saying "Kill me for I am a dissident." You might be able to take back the fort, but there is no way that a government would let you traipse through the entire country. All that invading would do is kill a few obvious peasants, anger a million more peasants, because the last thing a starving peasant wants is an army running through his fields, and demanding his food for the greater good. Plus it would probably cause a revolution in your country.
  22. Treasury: 18.5m, Royal Treasury, somewhere around 40m?
  23. Any update on my revolution? If you missed the map I posted of my plans, it's a few pages back probably.
  24. Trol, you realize if someone were to attack you, you could only defend with at most 300 line soldiers?
  25. I'll probably have to hold off on starting this until school, because oddly enough time I will have more time for roleplays then, since I spend nearly every waking moment of my summer out of the house or with friends. I'll work on a map in the meantime though.
