  1. You'd think it would be noticed if an army was massing outside of france, lead by the brother of an executed king. Ah well. Also, who wants to import food to france? Grim I pmed you.
  2. Since when is Charles in Prussia? When did I miss this?
  3. http://forum.tip.it/index.php?showtopic=272561&view=findpost&p=4448196 Tiny lie about who came up with the idea, and payment but still. I don't control all the Countries in the HRE, but part of the Declaration of Human Rights states: Article XII - No one may be forced to change his opinions, provided that their manifestation does not trouble the public order established by the law. Article II - The goal of any political association is the conservation of the rights hereforth laid out. These rights are survival, prosperity, security and freedom of belief. http://forum.tip.it/index.php?showtopic=272561&view=findpost&p=4429927 And, matter of order, I wrote it, with help from the Magna Carta. Prussia hardly held a loaded gun to your head...For one thing they were a few hundred miles away and Dusty wouldn't allow guns that were a few hundred miles long. Oh, I was thinking you were talking about the Declaration of Rights of the Citizen, which is the French one. And you asked for peace, threatening us otherwise. So yea, with a metaphorical gun to our head.
  4. Archi, you're just making stuff up now. Response from random people in Prussia: Remember when ol Frederick decided to help out them Frenchies? Me neither, where's the bread at? So you're saying the Holy Roman Empire now has freedom of religion? When did this happen? And who's to say that revolutionaries haven't read the declaration? We did write it after all. Prussia asked for peace with a loaded gun to our head.
  5. Oh, Grim I forgot to answer your PM as I checked it on my phone, which doesn't let me answer. I don't think I've seen him mentioned by Dusty, so for now I'll just leave things as they are.
  6. According to Zombie Survival Guide canon, the zombie virus kills pretty much all life forms that try to eat it, etc. so rotting is slowed down a ton, since that includes bacteria.
  7. Fellow countrymen, today is a dark day, but it is not our darkest. Remember the days when a King could take all of your belongings while your children starved, remember the days when Louis would gorge himself on piles of food, when you had nothing. Times may be dark now, but there is a light in the future! Prussians speak of us as warhungry animals, calling us godless swine. But what are they? They must follow a religion or be executed, and was it not they who invaded us, whereas soldiers of our revolution have never once crossed over our border to attack another land? They laugh at our new freedoms, mocking them, but in the end, we are the moral victors, we have freedom. /stuff that really doesn't matter except for roleplay.
  8. 3/4? Haha, that's hard to believe. Where do soldiers come from? Peasant families. You just sent them home to kill their families basically. And edel, it just reminded me of some past stuff.
  9. 'edel', somehow I suspected you would end up doing something like this.
  10. France sends mass amounts of propaganda to Austria, advocating for an overthrow of the monarchy. EDIT: plus, I don't think this is the type of game where you can give people soldiers permanently, they all have families back home etc. and want to fight for their country, not another country.
  11. What makes you say The Beatles are overrated? And all rap? I'd be willing to bet Naraku hasn't spent much time listening to rap, other than the mainstream crap.
  12. It depends if this is the only event on it, and it goes away after. In any case, the State provides safety for some of the greater minds, who might otherwise have been executed by the mobs, as happened in reality. EDIT: Or was that referring to Retech?
  13. And next reset is in 3 days? So that means I just lose 15m next budget? Not too bad, I guess.
  14. Ah well, I still come out on top with +50% after all the revolution stuff. Dusty, it's...1790 now? Or 91?
  15. I think he now just has all your money. Maybe some confused soldiers. In any case, me and Russia, were we to fight, are even enough that it would just lead to a near stalemate. He may have more people, with your army, but I have Napoleon as a general, as well as double morale bonus, and the ability to conscript.
  16. France declares war on Austria Hungary. Naturally.
  17. Oh one more thing. Napoleon, being Napoleon, begins some of the reforms he is famous for, changing the education system, a central bank, etc etc. France is now free religiously, as far as the state is concerned.
  18. France Recruits! 10 Cannon 1500 Revolutionary Guard (Young) 10,000 Fusiliers For France, and Liberty!
  19. Nope, I don't even remember my H&H name.
  20. Mine's 67m, I think. But Navy is nonexistant, unless I get what the royals had. I had to keep making it stronger in order to beat off the royals who had a 40-50m army.
  21. That also means you probably have a weak army. Dusty, do I have all that money for this turn, or do I have to wait til next? If I have to wait til next I should have ~20m.
  22. I was leaning towards Exile, but then I figured, why not go with history. An Impartial trial finds Louis guilty of treason against France and it's people, and is sentenced to death.

    Inception

They didn't show if it stopped, he looked away or something, if I remember right.
  24. In a world where all actions are perceived through words, then yea, they make a difference. Capitalization makes a big difference in how people see your posts.
  25. Earth, it's just harder to take you seriously. To be honest, it's hard to take someone seriously if they don't capitalize the starts of sentences. It's not harder to read, but it changes the way we perceive the post.
