We? I never enslaved anyone. I think slavery is wrong. Why should something my great great grandparents have done, which I think is wrong, be used against me? It makes no sense at all. Yeah, that's a stupid argument. Should I feel guilty because someone in my family way down the line might have done something wrong? Should Germans be guilty and live in shame because of WWII? Should like 5% of the world feel guilty because they're ancestor was Genghis Khan, and he was responsible for millions of deaths?

Not telling you off, or making you add more money but the cost of researching the shuttle in real life, along with building it was 156 billion or so. But it doesn't matter, whatever you've put into it is fine. Guys, Adrenal can do whatever he wants. If he wanted to give his country fully to dusty, he could have. It's his decision. Anyway Elevators are tethered in both Norway and Brazil, production of ships started a few months ago once they were tethered. The underground habitats are going great, and due to that we're upping the budget. About 20 of them are finished, and people are moving in for cheap housing, and promised jobs. We're working on high speed subway systems to connect all the habitats in the US over time. Each habitat has about 10 levels. Here is how that is broken up Level 1 (Closest to surface): Entrance, nonessential stores (ie: Not food stores), any embassies. Level 2: Housing, Stores Level 3: Housing, Stores Level 4: Upper Class Housing, Gyms, Spa, etc. Level 5: Law enforcement, emergency buildings, hospitals, Government buildings. Level 6: Housing, Stores, Utilities Level 7: Housing, Warehouses/storage Level 8: Agricultural fields and facilities Level 9: Agricultural fields Level 10: Bomb shelters, Emergency escape routes, water source or underground lake, Geothermal power plants, or fusion plants. Each habitat is placed in locations where earthquakes or natural disasters are unlikely, but they could survive an earthquake with some damage, depending on the magnitude. We've indefinitely postponed any further research on floating ocean habitats, due to the huge cost inefficiency and the countless dangers.

Rocco, you didn't have to do anything. You said that you give up egypt, and then said you would take another country. Adrenal posted twice in the past couple pages. He can do whatever he wants with his country. Latino gained a country of over a billion people, it wasn't divided at all. I get that you guys don't like dusty's empire or whatever, but Adrenal can have whatever he wants happen to his country.

Oh wait, was it deathdrow? Haha, what? The second line doesn't make much sense, though of course, it does mean something... Well I think I got the gist of the second line, but the first I can't figure out. And different sites are giving me different meanings of the words. grr.
-
One of the newer players, I forget who. Penguin, for the life of me I cannot figure out what the last bit of your signature means? EDIT: Wait I think I got it. hang on. My best attempt at translating the second line is something like "The orange moon will rise in the red heavens." Then something else that I couldn't get. Am I right?

Space elevator will be tethered to earth within 3 months to six months. Then a few months later it will probably be ready for use.

I'm not sure how you would effectively mix the thermite and napalm. I guess before the napalm gets think it would be possible. Or in with the gasoline. I don't know.
-
Well, homemade napalm is pretty much just easily manageable gasoline that sticks to stuff. It burns really hot, it melted throw the road near my house. Well, a few inches through till the tiny bit I had burned out.

I changed his color to blue-gray. We have nothing like that I don't think, as his green is just a bit darker than mine. Also fixed all the things you missed in that other map. For god sakes, if anyone else is making other maps, use this one as a base, and add onto it. Otherwise we're gonna have 10 more maps in the next 12 posts. [hide=][/hide]
-
did the movies and tv tell you that? In general, you can make an explosive of some sort from stuff you can find in a garage/bathroom. Probably not any high explosives though, so pipe bombs wouldn't be as effective. Napalm could be useful though.
-
K, just making sure, because I didn't see a post. And yeah, rocco, pretty much.

so your gonna pull all of those nails out of a bunch of zombies? yes..lets get zombie blood all over the place. oh..fyi, nails bend if you cant even get a gun how are u gonna get a hold of explosives? Explosives can be made with household materials easily. More easily if you have a lot of cleaning products, or chemicals, but either way. Napalm is also easy to make. But I guarantee most people saying they know how to make explosives easily have no idea what to do without a handy google search. In general though, explosives aren't too useful for zombies, I guess.

Fixed a coupla border mix ups and added some countries I've been negotiating with for seven years. Hopefully we can be done with maps for now. [hide=][/hide]

A nail could definitely pierce a skull, and improvised explosives could easily have some nails in them.

Paul, where did he say he quit? I just checked his posts, he never said that publicly?
-
That's their normal flag too. I'm also a fan of bhutan's. I think my flag is fairly fitting though, it kind of reminds me of space and planets and all.

I'm pretty sure that's part of india, which isn't colored in for some point. Better map: [hide=][/hide]

Those Switz are definitely known for their anger. You probably just saved the entire world in a totally selfless act. TTanT said he quit (for the time being), and said that it fell into anarchy. The whole "saving the world" was a joke :twss: But troops are on their way there. Did he say he quit over pm? Because I didn't see it in the thread. Anyway, the twin space elevators are near completion, and once those are done spaceship production will be made much cheaper and easier. After that we'll start building a few experimental ships. Nothing violent, just for testing the limits of our ships in different environments among other things.

Ok, no need to be jerks. Shurikens if you have a decent supply and some talent would be ok for defense. Crossbows are actually kinda loud. Silencers are designed to mask the sound so other people don't recognize it as a gunshot, not hide it all together, but zombies wouldn't care if it was a gunshot or a tree branch snapping. Weapons like shuriken and throwing knives are some of the few truly silent weapons.

I use the 2009 gdp per person average, then raise that (or in some cases lower) it a reasonable amount. Like if a country has been improving a lot, I might raise it a good deal, or if a country has just gotten new land the gdp average will usually lower. The list ends at 2050, so we'll have to just use growth rates from there. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_co ... 20_to_2050
-
There's a list of predicted populations up to 2050, so I use the 2045 number, then adjust it as I think is reasonable (ie: war would mean less people, propaganda for kids means more). Then I take all the countries, find the average gdp for all of them (based on number of citizens, a country with 10 people with an average gdp per person of 50 million wouldn't be as important as a country with 100 million people making 10 bucks a year.) I adjust that a reasonable amount up based on what the country's doing, then multiply that by the population. Then I figure out the taxes stuff. This isn't true, but for game purposes, 20% of tax will be considered dispensable (barring some major event, like an earthquake or war reparations). And that gives them their extra money to spend.
-
Ok, malaysia, your population is 498 463 000, your gdp is 4,020,933,600. At 20% tax, the government will receive about 800 billion a year, and from that you'll probably get around 160 billion of disposable money each year.

Shurikens were designed to penetrate skulls, iirc. But, they're difficult to aim, and a crossbow would be way more common. I mean, ninja stars aren't exactly lying around all over the place.
-
What countries do you own again? I'll do all the math for you.
