@Retech: With Japan's pro-Democratic rhetoric, the People's Republic of China has threatened military action against Japan because of its 'information imperialism'. The revolts are much like Tianamen Square and aren't very widespread. The revolts fail and over 50 people are immediately sentenced to execution by firing squad. Another 5 people are sentenced to death by lethal injection due to their province's execution policy. Tension is mounting between Japan and the PRC. The PRC reminds Japan that it has virtually no military and has been alienating itself from the United States after breaching the terms of the Japanese surrender during World War II. The PRC has the world's largest standing army and reminds its neighbors that it could, at any time, 'wipe the Japanese imperialists from the face of the Earth'. ---- Also, Retech, the US Navy doesn't even have a fleet that big. I doubt that you have 119 warships.

Isn't there a ban on them anyway, in real life? EDIT: Anyone invading another country also needs to post their strategies, kind of like what Dusty did on the first Hegemony when he conquered most of Europe. Oh, and you need to be reasonable. Currently, the US has the second largest standing army. (About 1.4 million in standing army and another 1.4 million in reserves). China is number 1, and they currently have something like 2 million in their standing army, so don't expect to be sending 5 million people to invade a country or anything.

Everything that has happened in History has happened in the game. The only difference is that the most powerful nations in the world came together and banned all nuclear arsenals. So, now they aren't in the game. Although Japan was still nuked during World War II. Japan has no military, due to the terms of their surrender. It will take you a while before you could have a military again. --------------- @Mather: Normally I would be okay with it, but you should start off with a country (say Norway) and then slowly try to annex all of Scandinavia. You won't start off with all of Scandinavia instantly, sorry. Speaking from a view of ignorance, I would say that it would take a decade for all Scandinavian countries to form some type of union. You can't always rely on that, though. The US has worked with the UK on some things, then the US did a complete 360 and claimed that it was too risky to give the technology to British soldiers because they may be captured by al-Qaida or whatever. If the US will do something like that to its closest ally, the UK, then the US will very likely do that to everyone else.

American politics needs a radical change. Right now you have a two-party system that is so incompetent and hell-bent to fight each other that they aren't productive. Right now, the US needs to back out of the Middle East, rebuild its economy and withdraw some industries from overseas (so that there are more products produced in America), and re-assess the Special Relationship between the US and the UK. Culturally, we need reforms. We are losing our national identity, and our current "culture" is consumerist. As far as the educational system, we are experiencing more and more 'dumbing down' as a way of passing those who aren't mentally capable or are too lazy to pass if the system wasn't sub-standard.

Build a high level spy camp, watchtower, set a zerg amount of soldiers to defence mode in your parade ground, get a few more legends because they have higher combat bonuses, and fortify your ramparts. It also wouldn't hurt to invest in a high level warehouse to store your goods. By the way, once protection expires, wait 6 hours and go into peace mode by clicking on Ruler tab.

To be honest, with RD glitching on me and not really allowing me to progress (as well as the 7 day period wearing off and an entire clan of idiots trying to wipe us out and the fact they aren't glitched) I can't really play. Also, the days have been wearing off after I joined Royal Garden, so I'm not only severely behind, but I'll be vulnerable to attack. I think I'm going to just lay off a little bit and wait for a reset so I won't be so severely disadvantaged. I have something like 400 rep on RG and 6000 rep on RD. <_<
