The BTS has discovered that a few of the cargo ships en route to the Licht Empire were destroyed. We still have yet to find out if they were destroyed by some natural celestial object or if there was some kind of strange and unusual malfunction. The rest of the envoy of ships have made it to the Licht Empire and are now delivering goods as if nothing had happened. There was a transmission from the doomed ships, though: "We have lost a few ships, sir. We have tried a different route to the Licht Empire through space, and we're experiencing a lot of radiation. (brief silence) My God. Radiation levels are off scale. We're [crackle] die! [static]" The route has been revealed by checking the last moments of data from the ships. We have detected large amounts of gamma radiation and x-rays coming from an area along this path. This is most likely what destroyed the ships, not some malfunction.

I can't decide what I want to do, to be honest. I've gotten letters from schools such as ITT tech, but I don't know what I want to do. I don't know if I want to be a computer/mechanical engineer, a pharmacist, a physician (although I hate blood, so prob not a good choice), a professor, a politician, or some kind of web/game designer. :cry: Help please. I even thought a little bit about the Military, but if I go that route, I want a cool job that doesn't put me as some infantry soldier. I want to at least be an officer or something IF I go that route. I have pretty high marks in school by the way.

We have lost communication from several cargoships containing large amounts of much-needed kelp that were being sent to the Lichtes as part of our usual exports. The Britannian Trade Service is currently investigating the cause of this problem. Without the kelp, the Lichtes will be short of their usual supply of kelp. This can cause problems with their food rations, perhaps causing starvation in areas of the Licht Empire. The BTS apologises for this inconvenience, and we will find a solution to the problem as soon as possible.

This "bomb" contains a powerful aphrodisiac that causes combatants to become incapacitated because of "sudden and extreme desire and affection to one another." In other words, it causes enemy combatants to start having sex with each other in the middle of a battle field. Okay, I was looking up my name on Google, and I found out that I share my name with some semi-famous/famous people. In this fun little research project, I figured that it would be interesting for all of us to look our names up and see who we share them with. Who knows? Perhaps you can learn something new. Not true. If you've actually been to the South you would know that although there is a rivalry between the South and the North, most people in the South aren't the stereotypical Rednecks that you just described. The rivalry is more along the lines of "the people in the North are Yanks, and we're Southerners". From what I've seen, Southerners treat 'Yanks' better than 'Yanks' treat Southerners. When I moved into Kansas during fifth grade, I was ridiculed a lot because I was from the South and had a Southern accent. Some of the teachers even treated me like I was intellectually inferior because I was from the South... In rural areas of the South, you have more of the stereotypical stuff, but it's completely different in metropolitan areas. It really just depends on where you go, but it's by no means a majority of the population. I will agree a little bit about the racism. There is still a large amount of racism due to the predominantly black population that has finally overwhelmed the white population, especially in poverty-stricken regions. It exists on both sides, and both sides accuse each other of wrongdoing. The blacks argue that the whites are repressing them, and the whites argue that the blacks are stealing from them, murdering them, and raping their daughters. In these areas you have a lot of crime from the black community (thus fueling white resentment against blacks); there are just a lot of problems in these areas, and I don't really see them ending anytime soon. In metropolitan areas, however, there is a lot less racism. Younger whites are generally more tolerant. Of course, these are just my observations; people in these aforementioned areas might view things differently from how I just described them.

Don't forget isolation. When you conquer a land, you want to split the people up in order to prevent nationalistic rallying. Plus, it helps speed up the process of indoctrination when the Conquered are intermingled with the Conquerors as they automatically become assimilated.
