Very well. I need some landscape to fight in. Do you mind if I have some war games on Orojike?

Ross, I request some unarmed machines that you don't care about so I can use them as target practice in my war games.

Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
Because Ross doesn't know about troop movement, and since he doesn't know about it, you wouldn't know if he was raising a security alert. You guys seem to forget that you are tens of lightyears apart from each other and aren't omniscient. That's why people don't post many updates anymore. People auto-react to it.

What the [bleep]? You can't auto-react. And 20 styx platforms = stationary, lawl.

Do you use slang words/phrases?
I did for my first (proper) essay I had to do, I did my intro, and my teacher started going around the room. It got to me: 'Life in Medieval Europe sucked.' As soon as I said it, I knew I had done something wrong. Hey, it's true. In AP European History, a kid was critiquing an essay in front of the class, and he was talking about how the "Spanish were 'banging' the natives as part of the Columbian Exchange".

Robert E. Lee Day
Yes, but he's still ranked among the greatest American generals, and he actually was a pretty good tactician. http://www.militarygenius.com/world_empires_empire/forgotten_military_geniuses.html

Old School! Post Your Pictures!
This was a massive drop party where people were supposedly dropping rares. It sucked because all I got were some burnt swordies and a harralander. People were like, "OMG white p hat!!!" and piled something I didn't have the chance to see. :( EDIT: That noob in Torags and holding the Pharoah's sceptre is me. That was my fashion show outfit that I wore to the first and second TET events. I got mad after the second event because I was young and stupid and was mad because I lost.

Do you use slang words/phrases?
Y'all isn't Ebonics... ---------- I try not to use slang, but I do notice that I drop some letters (especially the 'g' in '-ing') from time to time. I'm really conscious about it, so I try to refrain from doing so. I have a Southern US accent, but it isn't as pronounced as a lot of people would expect it to be. It's sort of a mainstream American accent fused with a Southern accent; it's actually quite a nice accent. It isn't as dry as a mainstream American accent, and it isn't heavy like a rural Southern accent. A lot of people speak this way in the metropolitan area of central Arkansas. In more rural areas, you'll find people pronouncing things like 'yeller' for 'yellow' or 'piller' for 'pillow'. Older people will also use archaic terms such as 'yonder'. It gets sort of interesting if you read about the history behind the accent.

Robert E. Lee Day
Hey, Robert E. Lee Day falls on the same day as Martin Luther King Day, and I was wondering if anybody was actually going to celebrate this. I'm not, personally, but I was wondering if anyone actually celebrated this. For those who don't know, Robert E. Lee was the general of the Confederate States Army and is regarded as a nationalistic symbol in the southern US.

The BSAF launched an "invasion" of a vastly empty area on our desert world in Kajea. Props (moving targets and such) were set up. Tanks and retired Lancelots were in the area and were used for target practise. This war game simulated a battle field scenario. Drop ships sent soldiers to the surface (who had various exosuit models, based on their branch and subgroups. An orbital blockade was simulated as well. Naval scenarios were played out on the open oceans of Kajea. Arctic warfare was simulated on the arctic world in Kajea. The military experimented with well-insulated metamaterial clothing. The metamaterial jacket also contains light-weight armour on the inside that absorbs the impact of bullets. It essentially makes the soldier transparent, but still somewhat visible since it isn't a true cloaking device. Metamaterial is optic camouflage. Also, this clothing was only used on soldiers that didn't use full exosuits. The results indicate that this clothing would be practical for soldiers who aren't in fully-enclosed exosuits during arctic warfare. It's better than nothing.

Yes well I can't remember what bloody flagship I put in it's place. Blasted memory. Do you remember which one it was? Hmm... I might adopt the fleet ranking system that you have, considering that the one I have at the moment is kind of weird.

I'm pretty sure Ragnarok was retired to Beta Fleet, lol.

I don't, but that's how Orojike was divided originally. I really only care about my research facilities, so I'm making sure that I have enough resources to continue alchemy (using snow and ice in order to supply fuel for the strange matter reactors). Space elevators on every Britannian world are being built. They are expected to dramatically lower costs of the space programme. Also, the Magnate III has been completed. It is able to enter and leave an atmosphere. It is like a space shuttle, although the design looks more like a stealth fighter. Major military 'war games' commenced last year. The public (including militias) as well as the Military were trained how to react during a large-scale war. Project New Eden is going into the final stages of terraformation. Volunteers for colonisation are signing up at local offices. The 100 battle ships from Yexenus are being used for patrol purposes. Astrum has reached a 500 million population.

Harder than Nomad?
It would be so cool if we could use the Armadyl Staff. That would be one quest that I wouldn't complete if it meant that I had to return it. Anyway, off-topic, but did Jagex ever update the look of the Staff of Armadyl from the Temple of Ikov quest? It looked like a boring old lava staff then.

Harder than Nomad?
How about Zamorak and his Mahjarrat followers? Sure he became a god, but he is a Mahjarrat. Maybe Zamoreugal is powerful enough that some of the average/weaker Mahjarrat cling to him for safety. In Zamoreugal's notes, he implied that many Mahjarrat seek alliances with other Mahjarrat in order to protect them from the Ritual. The ones that tend to not have any allies usually are the ones that are sacrificed.

I'm aware of that, but it was rather late last night, and I was in a rush. I saw that I implied that Buddhism had a god-figure and I was like, "Hmm... That's not right. Oh well." Anyway, my point still stands. Hindus are giving up their gods and are now taking a purely philosophical approach, just like the Buddhists.

Ross, will the work on Orojike interfere with my research colony (50% of Orojike surface)? I have some research stations there. ------------- The Royal Guard has been restructured. A small group of the most trustworthy gentlemen has dedicated themselves to the protection of both the King and the President. They operate like the Secret Service. The Royal Guard will now make up part of the Federal Reserve Army. They receive training like the career members of the Standing Army, but FRA members are part-time. FRA members can be used during disaster relief events, just like the US National Guard. A permanent police force has been created and will replace the title of 'Royal Guard.' These police units make up the new Territorial Guard. They still practise the same policy of kindness and helpfulness to the civilians, and they still receive training from the Armed Forces. To recap: -The Royal Guard now protects the King and the President. -A large portion of the Royal Guard has been absorbed into the Federal Reserve Army. -The Territorial Guard has been formed; it is the successor to the Royal Guard's police force.

Favorite thing about the opposite sex?
Round T&A. On a more mature note, I can't stand a lot of womens' personalities. The gossiping, conniving, giddiness when the man acts tough, etc. is enough to turn me off. However, if a girl is polite, kind, and intelligent (as well as being more mature and not like teenaged girls), then I'm a lot more likely to be attracted to her.

WTF this quest is too short to be a GM quest. It's more like an intermediate quest. WTF Please don't nerf the boss, jagex. He's too easy as it is. Just shoot him with ruby(e) bolts and he dies.

It's a good thing that my "mechs" aren't that ineffective. They are replacements for tanks and are a little bit smaller(ish). More can be stored in a certain area due to their bipedal design. "Why not just use the money that I would be spending on one Lancelot on individual exo-suits instead? All a Lancelot is is a glorified exosuit." The answer is simple. Mech-tanks are bad [wagon]. Video of bad [wagon] real life exosuit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9k4oUNHLJs ------- Military reforms are now featuring a restructuring of the Military. New special groups will be organised. Specialisation of armour for each unit will be adopted. Each branch and subgroup will also be given an added 'pomp and flair' in order to demonstrate Britannian pride in the military once more. A recent nation-wide survey has revealed an increase in the new religion. Hinduism and Buddhism have taken a sharp dive because former Hindus and Buddhists no longer believe in their gods, however, they still practise Hindu/Buddhist philosophy. Christianity and Judaism have had a less decline than normal. Islam has had somewhat of a greater decline than Christianity and Judaism. The amount of professing Agnostics (not necessarily on the Atheistic side of the Agnostic spectrum) has grown leaps and bounds, as is expected in a modern society where Science has replaced Mysticism, although Science seems to have created a mysticism of its own.

US Gay Marriage Ban Challenged in Federal Court
According to your list, not all marital rights involve money. Of course, I can't speak for the gay community, but I'd imagine that there's a little more to it than money. And as far as racism, there are currently anti-discrimination laws based on race. An employer has to hire black people because of Affirmative Action. In some areas of the South (especially in the state in which I live in), school districts are required to keep a racial balance between blacks and whites. If there are more than 50% whites, then they pretty much have to tell white people who are enrolling into the certain school that they can't allow them to do that. They have to recruit black kids into the school as part of the integration laws in that state. So in some respects, yes, racism can be considered illegal.

Military police will ensure that there isn't a conflict between Brits and anyone else at the next Games. Some of our most well-disciplined marines will act as body guards for the athletes. Any civilian spectators that come will be seated in a reserved area, so as not to be riled up by what's going on during the games. Trotsky's March will also be played. And if anyone wonders how the basic tune of the song goes, it is this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_t156xOu0nw

11-Jan-2010 - Nomads Requiem
I don't really see the big deal about losing no items on death. He's still a challenging boss to fight, and the fight is a little more intensive than the usual "hit and eat" type monster. With this guy, you have to fight his clones and look out for him charging spells. It's a bit more like a more realistic battle. Thus, it's more exciting. Some people might think that this quest is rather weak for a GM quest, but it's still another building block in the Mahjarrat Mysteries quest series.
