  1. [bleep] OBAMA! Anyway, the USA will do what it can do because most countries won't do anything about it. When the other Western countries stand up for themselves, the United States' power will be knocked down a notch or two. Until then, the United States controls the world, and any US citizen who speaks out against it is unpatriotic. Enjoy your hip-hop and crisy (and your Coca-Cola). Oh, and this is one of the reasons why I'm moving out of the States eventually. My family has been here for centuries and even helped found the nation, and then the United States murders itself. I guess I'm not the only one that would agree that the US government needs to get revolted against.
  2. yeah because theres sooooo many interesting threads on the forum right now /sarcasm hey rizla So, if I was gone awhile and came back and posted in Off-Topic with a thread similar to this one, you think the admins/mods would really let me make the thread and not just lock it? Hell, unless they changed their policy concerning "welcome/welcome back" threads, they used to lock them. ----- Anyway, Rizla, your name sounds vaguely familiar, but I don't remember any of your posts. Also, you will find that things changed drastically. The staff (and the community itself) is a lot more liberal, and Bubsa and Viktorkrum77 were both banned. There are still some "old school" posters in Off-Topic, but most of them have moved on.
  3. If you can't find a gal, try a pal.
  4. I take Germany.
  5. :wall: You know that was a joke, right?
  6. Lol. Because I'm Dusty. 'Nuff said. Go rob Killville and Sodom. They're nice little buggers. ------- Message from the Pumpkin Head Pwners: "We leik to steal ur stoof and kill you and take ur bones and put em in our fort for decoration."
  7. I think the Military just assumes that all gay men are effeminate and thus lack the 'balls' to go shoot somebody on a battlefield. I doubt that the majority of the folks in the military who don't want homosexuals in the armed forces hold this conviction because they personally want to deprive homosexuals the right of serving their country. I think it's more along the lines that they don't want any effeminate behavior in a field that is 'the man's job'. A lot of people in the military resent women being in the armed forces as well. The two are connected.
  8. Someone was using Criminal Acts in order to walk into my place earlier. Anyway, everyone please stay out of my place for a bit. I'm organizing some stuff.
  9. I did. And no. Heh, sure. I CBA to get on right now because I'm off for a little bit.
  10. Cart in logs into the village. We could really use a stockpile of them.
  11. Wasn't me.
  12. Right... Well there was never a designated hearth spawn area. We asked that people move their hearth fires by their homes so they could spawn there, making it more convenient for everyone. Plus, they function as permanent street lamps at night. I remember taking a boat that was sort of north of the ore smelters. Perhaps that was yours? In any case, I will bring a boat over to your little area soon (Edgeville). The town was becoming very divisive as it is. Those who are loyal will be rewarded for it, but we had to do what we had to do in order to protect things from being randomly snatched up and people arguing over materials. A couple of our villagers have displayed maturity and will be duly rewarded. I have seen very few people actually contribute to the town by building things or getting materials for the town. Most people are trying to move out and found their own towns (which is foolish), so they will definitely be excluded from most affairs.
  13. That's not the spawn area.
  14. It helps protect some stuff that's there. I can make it so that every villager may trespass (i.e. cross the land) but not steal from my cupboards or build on my property if necessary, but people rarely go in the fenced area except Archi and me.
  15. We warned you to move your fire for the past three days now. However, I will give you permission to trespass so you can move your fire elsewhere. @Ross: Archi left the back gate open (west)... It's been open for the past two days. The main gate is locked when Archi and I are both logged out in order to fool would-be raiders into thinking that it's locked up since the back gate is hard to see unless you walk around there. Raiders are lazy. EDIT: Trol needs to move his fire when he gets on (the first thing he does). Ross, would you please move yours closer to your cabin?
  16. Actually, I think the pumpkin takes up 6 spaces now that I think about it more. It's huge. The icon is also pixelated, so I think they just stretched the icon for the pumpkin out in order to create the inventory icon in Microsoft Paint. It does give 8 slices of pumpkin, which satisfies hunger pretty well. A full pumpkin should be enough to fill you up, assuming that you're nearly red-barred. It also gives 8 pumpkin seeds, so you don't have to worry about sacrificing seeds for something edible. You make a 7 seed profit per seed planted, so it will obviously spread ridiculously fast. Of course, they might take a while longer than most crops to grow, but I'm trying to find that out. Depending on how long it takes for them to grow, they might be a viable alternative to meat.
  17. I'll give you one pumpkin seed that I stole last night. You may think that one seed is insignificant, but apparently when you harvest pumpkins (which take up like 8 spaces in your inventory and give one pumpkin per harvest) and then cut them into slices, you get 8 slices (which are great for eating because they heal quite a bit) and 8 seeds. In other words, they will spread everywhere within half a week.
  18. Does that surprise you? We became fascist a few years ago.
  19. Quick question, how do you know this...? He told me right after he told me about his burning bush Blatant disrespect for one's religion is not how one climbs the rungs of society. He's Jewish.... ------------------------------------------------------------------- Anyway, I don't know about coming up with a list of 8 things, but I can sure as hell name one: 1) Gay people can't like the opposite sex. Joking aside, I do believe that the government shouldn't decide who can marry or not. Whether or not homosexuality is your cuppa tea, I don't see how it really would matter that much.
  20. Sexual Communism
  21. Not much has happened today. I was helping Paul repair this abandoned village, and then Doom said she discovered a ransacked village with a copper mine. Naturally, we went and checked it out (everyone who was on at the time did), and I discovered a ton of poppy and pumpkin seeds. The only major productive thing I did today was plant all of my seeds from the plunder in my yard. Now I have a pretty sizable farm.
  22. Cool. That's what Rimmington is for, although you have to return the boats to the dock after every use, and you have to leave a boat or two for Icuo to use (since he owns one of the boats, most of his land is his, and he uses the docks).
  23. The main problem is that it detracts from your liberty. On the other hand, it helps prepare civilians for military service. This is an obvious benefit, but one could argue that it's also an obvious benefit for the government to be an autocracy since it gets stuff done without going through the trappings of the law and democratic process. I also like Dusty's comment. You guys need to sail across the English Channel and kick some French ass every once and a while. Teach those Froggies a lesson for something they did 1000 years ago. Makes perfect sense.
  24. Paul, if you can't get on in time, maybe Archi can move it to my house (in my Claimed zone) so no one touches it? It should be quite safe there.
  25. Hmm. I don't think that I should get involved in another Hegemony game. :wall: Anyway, have fun! :)
