It just hit me, why are there botters at the ranging guild anyway? I assume it's from the minigame (which gives exp and... tickets..?), but I'd like someone more experienced with this stuff to enlighten me (I didn't even know there were botters there in the first place).

I usually wear nothing, except for a skilling item (hatchet, pickaxe, anything relevant.) and those Fremmenik boots, maybe throw on a skillcape (used to be quest, but I need 61 runecrafting).

He was reporting them. It wasn't very effective (afaik), after all you can only report so many people, and there's no guarantee anything would have been done, so it was quite a ridiculous idea (I think they changed their clan). I'll try it, just because getting stupid things killed is very fun.

It's kind of crap because we've had 2 dwarf quests since they promised us a dwarf graphical update (not the chathead, but it's great nonetheless). Trolls are also long overdue for an update, we've had the first graphically done troll during the Easter event last year, and they even managed a whole group of them in the latest dwarf quest (My Arm). Wonder what's holding them. :thumbdown:

There ought to be some incentive to force players off their ass and into the game, something like Soul Wars. It's better implemented in non-combat games like the GOP because you can't die and reset your contribution. <_<

You only have 30ish attack, which limits your experience. You could try yaks or flesh crawlers. I'd say you should get 40 attack first for a rune weapon before trying for 70 defence.

I take it as 3+ years of "safe" Runescape softened you up? Your player suggestions were pretty much the "unwritten" rule of the pre-07 RS. Regardless: Or I could be a jerk and not bless and not let the guy get his items back. This is flawed either way; there will always be players who want to ruin your experience. Cannon fodder? All these claims are based on the fact that "crap the wilderness is going to be packed with pkers forever PANIC@@@@@@@@@@@@@". Ever visited the wilderness on a normal world (not 18 or 2) before the updates? They supposedly have some deus ex machina for this purpose, although what it is remains to be seen (but it will likely be ineffective).

I did my fair share of wilderness clues pre-wilderness removal (around november '07). I can certainly do it now with better stats. If anything it's going to be easier (after a few weeks), because all of the pkers usually congregate around a certain world at a certain spot. And who the hell scours the wilderness looking for some sap doing a clue?

Interestingly, after I revived my hero, I immediately got into a skirmish which I lost. Didn't die thanks to the update. It still says that I'm dead and he put my ear into his bag, which is really funny.

I'm hitting cardinal for the second time in about 3 or so ranks, so I beat all of you :twisted: . Also, I went back to my hero and found that he was dead. Was like "o crap I lost godpower and quest progress again". Then I looked at the update and it came out in the period of my hero dying and me coming to revive him (about 4 hours). FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUU

Heh, maybe they went to BO, realised there were no noob tubes, went "FFFFFFFUUUUUUU" and went back to MW2. But yeah, there are a lot less players on the MW series now.

I played a couple of games of this today after reinstalling steam (it was on my table, so why not). It was actually half-decent without the noob tubes. Then you get games with a whole team of OMA/DC/Commando tubers and tac knifers.

There's a balloon on the image as well. Maybe they're fans of Up...? :roll:
