How to Get iPod Speakers to Stay In While Exercising

Featured Replies

Keep them staying in your ears with your fingers for a while, after a short time, they won't fall out.

Look, if you really, really wanna stick with the headphones you have, try this:

Take the ear bud and the wire around the back of your neck, then up and around the top, placing the bud upside down in your ear. Tape the wire at the top of the ear with electrical tape.

The bud will pull on the top if it tries to fall out. And if it does, because of the tape (which helps it stay in place too), it's really close to your ear to put back in.

BTW, I literally LOL'd at the discourse of this thread. :P

You really shouldn't run with headphones anyway, they're too big. Also don't bob your head back and forth so much.

I had the same problem. The earbuds are crap anyway. I switched to full around the back of the head headphones and it works pretty well. 10-20 bucks.

Wear a toque!

And to Errdoth, why not wear a headband, and trap the earbuds into your ears whilst keeping your sweaty hair out of your eyes whilst also looking VERY stylish?

No worries. Just a few helpful sggestions that may not have been suggested otherwise. :-w

I don't get why everybody complains about the iPod's earphones. I've had mine for over 4 months, and they never hurted my ears or burnt out...

Everyone complains because the sound quality - in comparison to pretty much any other set of headphones - is in the crapper.

Lol at the front page =D>.

Mine usually stay in my ears. They kind of hurt though, but stay in wonderfully :).
