I strongly support this.

The only flaw is in the wildy,

The wildy friends part should be removed or at least changed so that your friend has a button to push to show him on the map or not.

Its kinda like the private chat button.

i support.. but i dont think it would work if your friend was in a different server...

They would be able to find a way to allow it to work with other worlds if necessary. Never underestimate the power of any company.
wouldn't it be hard
It could be, but I don't know how the whole thing works... All-in-all, they would find a way to do it.

totally support

How does 20 minutes turn into 2.5 hours? Was your math perhaps magical math?

i like it but what if you freind didnt wantyou to know where they were?
The answer to that is listed under "Preferences" in the first post. If they do not wish to be seen on the map, they switch it to say they don't.

It's a good idea, but wouldn't it take up a lot of server space to record the location of everyone in RS and their world? I guess they already do this with the mini-map, but compiling it into one large map would take lots of effort/space.

Great idea if someone found a way to make it work though.

yeah they could make it work, eventaully but the thing is we can already ask people where they are, why corrode the art of conversation even further? <.<

support anyway

i agree but one thing

wat if ur friend wants peace and dont wanna be found???

I do like this idea BUT... wouldn't it sorta ruin the "find-me" games that are held at many runescape parties and events help by people and the TET alike?

EDIT: ok i just realized that i'm dumb. The person that is hiding could just turn their priv. chat onto "friends only" or off. Then they'd appear logged off and people can't view them on the map. Ok issue solved.

While playing such games, set it so you cannot be seen on the map and you will not have to worry about it. Doesn't ruin it, just adds a couple of clicks to the process.

Good idea, but make it so they have to have you on their list as well, just to stop people begging top 21 players and such.

Support.

That's the point...to see friends locations across the worlds. (Took me a while to decipher your message, could have been a code to terrorists for all I knew...)

Great idea, I support it.

There's a second reason I support though.

It'll help the Trackers and Sniffers in my clan find the existing scammers that are scattered about.

And thus, allowing us to do our job better.
