If a Zippy mart was regularly robbed by Eskimo people that happened to be an incredibly small minority at that location wouldn't it be wise to become wary of Eskimos if you worked at that store? Would there be any point in being wary of Russians that walked in if it was always Eskimo's holding you up?

 

 

 

Now to put some realism on it...

 

 

 

If something bad happened where grown men of a certain type declared war on the US and operated using guerrilla style tactics where no uniforms were worn and had staged multiple attacks on US interests does it make any sense to search Grandma at the airport?

In the entire history of abortion clinics there has been one single death attributed to abortion clinic bombings and that was the one from Eric Rudolph in 1998 which was 9 whole years ago... I try not to be rude but that isn't a very convincing argument.

Can an oil funded terrorist organization that has managed to operate on the soil of what is arguably the most secure democratic state in the world afford makeup and cosmetic surgery? That probably mostly means areas like Sudan, Algeria and some of the Sub-Saharan countries.

I did a google search and the only bombers I could find linked to Africa were from Morocco. When he says African I assume he is mainly referring to black people. Morocco is majority Arab/Berber mix ever since the Arabs conquered it in their great conquest for Islam where the only thing that stopped them from converting everyone was their armies being defeated all the way up in France and Vienna.

They were arabs last, so next time, they'll never recruit muslim extremists from somewhere else like the entire northern africa or Indonesia - you know, the place where Al Qaeda once blew up a nightclub, in a country with the single largest community of muslims in the world. And one of those bombers was born on Java. Or Chechnya. There's enough muslim extremists to go around there as well. And that's not even touching India or Pakistan; There were these to pakistani based islamic terrorist groups who tried to blow the indian government to smitherens in 2001.

I would have thought Jamar Islamia (spelling probably wrong), and there were two bombings (2002, 2005 respectively, from memory), one not as prominant as the first.

 

 

 

Edit - Yes, it was *Jemaah Islamiyah*, an organisation based in south-east asia, with ties to Al Qaeda.

The idea of targetting Muslims at airport security wouldn't work. It would probably make the situation worse. Sectarianism would increase between Muslims and people of other Religions. We shouldn't be promoting racial inferiority (which by specifically targetting Muslims we would be) to others, as the problem would escalate out of control. Can you imagine how Al-Quaeda would profit from this?

 

 

 

There hasn't been a terrorist attack on US soil for almost 6 years, fear is the only weapon Al-Quaeda has and by acting on this ill thought out idea we would be playing directly into their hands.

I, for one, would wish there would be less religious debates on this forum. Don't get me wrong, a religious debate can be compelling, interesting and very enlightening, but there are far too many idiots on this forum to prevent that ever happening.

Thats why we need a debate forum, where we can at least have some guidelines on how to debate. Instead of some people who parade in and say stupid things, and everyone who does not wish to enter them can avoid them if they like. :D

They don't know enough about those religions to flame them.And besides, Catholics are misunderstood and apparently "easy to debate" because of controversial parts of their faith. Maybe if society learnt more and maybe READ the bible instead of skimming through it, they'd understand more.
