Nice job with that piece. I can never seem to get any motivation. I'm just stuck messing about with crayons (crayola of course ;P) in my sketchbooks. I've done some pretty rad stuff, but wax doesn't scan well. >_<

But this is your thread lol. @_@ Very nice stuff you have here, but I suggest adding minor aa between your shades with the colours you already have, just to add smoothness without losing sharpness. ;D

Just want to add that I like how you're using your palettes effectively throughout your pieces. Though you could look at more nude people to get a better grip on anatomy. ;P

Excellent avatars, B2D. :D I'm very impressed - solid style, excellent choice of colours. :)

PS, is this avatar Dune inspired? I dunno, it really reminds me of a scene from it.

messed round with the palette a bit, some of the shades seemed too close.. I thought the greenish shade stood out a bit too much, tried to unify everything..

Your AAing is improving but your still not using your palette to the fullest of its extent, tried to AA areas more.

Your dithering sure is more stylised but still remember what dithering is supposed to accomplish, if you want two colours to interlace smoothely I wouldn't use a dithering technique that'd make it stand out too much, juggling the Hue/saturation with a more gradual technique seems to work well.

also tried to illustrate some suggestions throughout my edit, the lips for example, the nostril etc..

good job, keep it up.

Ter out -
