Vulxai
It adds 15% attack and strength during slayer assignments, as for buying it, i would. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
Elessar3019
It raises your attack and strength by 15% when you're fighting a monster that is your current slayer assignment. That means that if you have 80 atk, when you meet the above requirements, you will hit the same as if you had 92 atk. See? Downside is you can't wear barrows at the same time. I expect, if you plan on doing some heavy-duty slaying, that the investment will be worth it. I'm not sure what the current market price is, sorry. perfect grammar is one thing, typing like a drugged monkey and enjoying it is anotherAMEN! djo0
If you are planning to train slayer with melee, then go for it. I have one and it's ownage  . But, if you prefer to use mage/range to slay, then don't buy one. "Nobody cheers for Goliath" ~Wilt Chamberlain~
Bloodredsword
Thanks very much everyone one last thing How fast does 1 charge run out? Listen to the mighty words of Bloodredsword. Tip it MGC Xbox live leader board!
Vulxai
the charges are random i think, but even after there is no charges, you still get the attack and strength bonus ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
djp2rr
When a mask is charged it reduces their defence (not sure by how much). The charges will only last for a few assignments, but it still gives you the attack/strength bonus when charges are gone... I always wear mine on assignment... I have one for sale if you want one (got it from Cave Horrors task)...
Freesia
A charge reduces enemy's defence by about 10-15%. So far there is no way to recharge a black mask Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(. stormveritas
Black masks tend to cost about 400k. It is the equivalent to permanently sipping a super atk and super str pot before every battle. They are -wonderful- if you melee train for slayer. I adore mine.
DeadPolkaDots1
These are well worth the investment. They are dropped every now and then by the level 58 slayer monster, Cave Horror. The market price is around 400-500k. When dropped, it has 10 charges, these charges trigger randomly, when meleeing your slayer opponent. They reduce the beasts defence randomly by a margin of 15-20%. Once the charges have depleted (there is currently no way to charge them), you still have the bonus of permanent super attack and strength (15% in both added). Potions stack with the Black mask but the Slave amulet (e) doesn't. Quit RS to play real games. :P Bye TIF, miss you.
