April 12, 200719 yr A quest cape is just as good as an obby cape and not very hard to get... You night get a few levels in the mean while, but hey, they give you someting to train for! I think the obby cape is a waste (I have quets cape) since there are cheap alternatives, like legends cape. Sure, it's not as good, but it costs a LOT less. Other data was removed when acoount got hacked...

April 13, 200719 yr Or perhaps adamant boots (can buy for 10k!) and Obsidian Cape. Slightly less defense stats and -1 on str compared to Rune. 99 Hits, Attack, Strength, Defence, Mage, Summoning, Slayer, Ranged, 96/99 Prayer
April 13, 200719 yr You could also get climbing boots for the exact same strength bonus if that's what you're looking for. I really wouldn't call it an era. It was more of a definitive time period during which dinstinctive characteristics were expressed in similar ways.
April 13, 200719 yr rune boots is superior to thzaar cape hands down. Not only is it better in stats, in the cape position you are better off wearing mage cape, spotty/spottier cape, ava accumulator, skills/quest cape. All I learned in life, I learned on Tip.it
