  1. So in Racheya's article, it was mentioned that Jagex is working on a big Smithing update. Where is that coming from? Thanks.

  3. Ajd didn't end this message with an elipse (...), which means no quest. I agree with the master smither about the Halloween event
  4. I totally agree, plus the commorbs seem to impress me a little more than the stone of jas (slap me senseless and call me crazy i dont give) So many great theories have been listed here I really don't want to think that hard to think of an innovative new one. February's BTS is only 2 (two) (dos) (3-1) (1.4^2) days away so I might as well wait to see what the amazing masters *cough* have in store for chocolate month of love. PS You know what would be utterly histerical? If Jagex decides to make a holiday event for Valentine's Day just like Thanksgiving and call it a week's update. My god don't you love useless updates like that :wall:
  5. Definitely support, every attack spell is autocastable zammy & sara aren't that's messed up. Maybe with the new free-for-all pvp world some rewards would be staves that can cast this long desired feature. Let's pray (ironic? ) that Jagex won't forget these two powerful spells.
  6. I liked both articles, but I especially liked the second one... *Ts Stormrage comes at me with full dh and 1 hp* Actually, I think both of them were great...heh...heh...
  7. I totally agree with this article. It's like, you hear someone talk on rs, right click their name, see if it's red or green, and that determines your actions to him/her. It's kinda like in rl, people date other people cuz their looks, not their personality. The more handsome/pretty they are (or the higher their level), the more people like them.
  8. I don't necessarily think it will completely ruin merchanting, because some people buying things maybe don't know about the Grand Exchange, so will continue their old habits of standing at banks and hollering "Selling (insert item(s) here)" or "Buying (insert item(s) here" But yea, I agree, it will affect merchanting quite a bit. It's like being shot with a bullet that never heals in the knee. Well, I guess that's only if your way of making money in Runescape is merchanting.
  9. I only quit one time, and it wasn't my fault! :wall: Well maybe it was...I guess I somehow slipped my password out and I logged out...tried to log back in 3 hours later and I couldn't. Customer Support, as you should be well aware, is a load of crap, so I couldn't recover my password :boohoo: A year and a half later I'm back with my current one \
  10. Yea that's what I mean, a self-updating sig. Jagex doesn't really give much info on how to do it...
  11. "Can I access data from the Hiscores and publish it? We have recently added a new feature to the Hiscores that will enable fansites to access data from the Hiscores much more quickly. This will be most useful for use as a 'signature', so you can show the world how your skills are going. To access a 'light' version of your character's high scores simply go to the following address: http://hiscore.runescape.com/index_lite ... urUsername Simply replace 'YourUsername' with your character's name and this will provide you with a string of numbers grouped in threes. These are your rank, level and experience in each skill, in the same order that they appear on the Hiscores. If you are unranked in a skill, your rank will be marked -1. If you run a fansite and wish to enable players to publish their hiscores, it should be a simple matter to format this string of numbers, as there is no HTML code attached to the output. In the script of the output, each rank, level and experience group is separated by a new line, and each field is separated by a comma (without spaces). Note that if you do not specify a user name, the user has no rankings or the user does not exist, you will receive a standard 404 error." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The above is a quote from runescape.com. I want to use their method of a signature to make a signature for tip it. Does anyone know how to do that? Thanks :D
  12. This article really surprised me. Tip It is supposed to be a site to help gamers advance in Rs. This article is basically saying (bluntly) "Quit all MMORPGS now, they're addicting and you're just wasting your time playing it. Look to the future, will it help you then?" So instead of helping it's promoting people to quit. What he's saying is very true...except...except... It's too early to think about that kinda stuff, ya know? :shame: Overall, however, this was a well written article. I just didn't enjoy the subject too much.
  13. Within 6 months, I registered in the forums. I don't use it a lot, though :( need to change that habit.
  14. Hmm...I was born in America but both my parents and all of my ancestors came from China...oh well, I guess I'm putting America because I myself was born here. :) Runescape Username: . . . . . Sir_Hogi_21 Country: . . . . .United States of America
  15. These two letters were great. I enjoyed the first one because it explained how getting a goal may be fulfilling to you, but probably not to your friends. I agree with that. The second one was good too, but I think I liked the first one more. It seems lots of people have opinions about the "What's your final goal in Runescape?" article :P
  16. I've learned that Mysterious Old Men, Sandwich Ladies, and Drunk Dwarves will never leave you alone I've learned you can ignore people by just putting their name on a list. I learned you never need to use the bathroom I've learned that you can fish, woodcut, mine, or kill stuff for hours and not sweat a single sweat.
  17. I use tip.it for about everything, except items and quests. For quests, I've almost finished all of the quests, and for the ones I haven't, if I get stuck I use Questhelp on Runescape.com :P For items and prices I use Zybez. I chose the second option in the poll.
  18. I really liked Dream Mentor because of the huge bosses at the end of the quest. I think the Lunar spells are neat, if not very useful, and unlocking new Lunar spells was pretty cool.
  19. Yea, when I read Prankster King's article, I was pretty upset of the things he blamed Jagex of doing. I really like the way these replies were written. They defended their point very nicely =D> I hope Prankster King sees that not everything he wrote was true, and I hope he will change his mind about some of the negative (I actually mean really really terrible lies) things that he wrote in his letter :P
  20. "STOP! Before you do anything else, get your range level up, even if you hate it! Therefore you will not to suffer noobish range levels once all your other levels are above 70!!!" ...*sigh*, if only I could say that. My range is my worst skill, and I spent the last week I played getting it up from 50 to 60. I hate it, but I know I need to bring it up, or else I'll never get my desired quest cape :wall:
  21. I would definately sell it. Money is the thing that drives most people in RS. Although I appreciate that my friend chose me to give the hat to, I'm not a big fan of collecting rare antiques. Sell it I would, if obtain one I could.
  22. Well those are some nice stats and goals, although I bet you would have a better feedback if you became a member. Good luck with your future goals! :D
  23. Before Jagex updated it and made it better, I think Olaf's Quest was probably the most annoying quest. People were falling off the bridge, running back to the bridge, falling off again, and trying and trying again. 3 hours was the average time someone spent doing that part of the quest  Pretty crazy, huh?
  24. I don't like the idea of a "Letters to the Editor," because the Tip.It Times includes information about previous updates, and future possible updates in Runescape. I believe letters to the editor will just be asking for advice, or just some funny comments. I always look forward to the Tip.It Times every week, so I wouldn't like it to change now
  25. I think F2P players deserve a better way to raise Crafting. In a member's world, spinning flax at a low crafting level can easily raise it. F2P have to get cowhides by the 1ks to even attempt to raise it. I think this needs to be changed. :D
