p0nd3r4
Would anyone be interested in having someone take them anywhere on F2P for 5k a pop? Features including resource location, so you can just say "to the nearest rune rocks" or "best place for yews". Basically it's the knowledge of an advanced player combined with a chauffeur! :) If interest is shown I'll begin right away. Please comment on pricing, features and concept. ^^
TheTallestDwarf
I'm lazy and all, but I'm not that lazy. And I'm not going to pay 5k. (Funny, I had the same idea when I was like level 30 4 years ago or something) Fun with paint. Drink night cough medicine, take pills for sleeping, or just start playing with your Pokeman balls! In your Gameboy SP that is. =P~
unkn0wnwarrior
Maybe make the price vary based on distance, or time, or something else completely. Personally I have no use for this service, but I do know some people who might use it.
Riptide Mage
I'll gladly walk you to the wildy rune rocks for 5k... You make it sound like running through a few level 87 monsters is hard which it really shouldn't be at your level.
Bradley_006
Well when i'm mining and i wanna bank, i just follow someone else there instead of clicking. I'd hire you for a day or two, how much per hour?
Gazzy
Well when i'm mining and i wanna bank, i just follow someone else there instead of clicking. I'd hire you for a day or two, how much per hour? or they could be a runner for you..... :? BTW i had the i dea as well! People with same idea: 3 so freaking funny. Are you sick and tired of people telling you what to put in your sig? So am I. No, don't put this in your sig, you'll be doing what THEY want! Tsar
Fine idea and all, but wouldn't teleporting be cheaper. :?
Bubsa
I'll gladly walk you to the wildy rune rocks for 5k... Then I'll kill you when I'm done! This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
KingWenlok
Fine idea and all, but wouldn't teleporting be cheaper. :? And much faster. However, lower levels do not have access to most teleportation spells, so it may appeal to them. If you lower the prices that is.
chase_cool7
I had this same idea actually but more of a train for more passengers. I thought of this when I was like lvl 50 though because I was poor and diddn't know how to make money.
Dark_Lord552
make price by how many steps you took lol Proud member of the Crimson Raiders1000 total lvl achieved on 4-17-07 -F2P
icecube
On the main RS forums, I saw 2 'taxi' services already. To my surprise, they actually got quite a few costumers, probably because it was members. One company charged nothing and took tips, and there were some very generous tips given. I must admit, I was jealous a bit. The second company charged a small amount per ride, I think it was 2k. The idea isn't bad but advertising would be harder if it was limited to F2P. JFonseka
Dumb idea, teleporting is quicker. And anyone would be an idiot to ask someone to take them to the wilds while not watching the screen. SO yea, pretty useless idea, considering it's 5k. But meh, there are people that go for it. Dude you seriously can make more money by: Mining Smithing Fishing Cooking Woodcutting etc... Plus your skills become better, unless you find walking people around RS fascinating 2432nd to 99 mining
p0nd3r4
Dumb idea, teleporting is quicker. And anyone would be an idiot to ask someone to take them to the wilds while not watching the screen. Not anyone can teleport. Besides, you can't teleport to specific places. SO yea, pretty useless idea, considering it's 5k. But meh, there are people that go for it. Yeah, pretty useless... except people will go for it? Dude you seriously can make more money by: Mining Smithing Fishing Cooking Woodcutting etc... Gee, really? Plus your skills become better, unless you find walking people around RS fascinating Funny thing, I actually find it more fun than clicking trees/rocks/furnace etc over and over again. Weird eh Don't come in threads of mine to be a jerk.
unorclan
a great idea for noobs if the price was like 1k - 3k. when I was a noob I had to always pay people like 1k to show me where varrock was. edit: people might think your a scammer...take the 5k and run with it.. skeroh
It's a good idea, but you'd get scammed a lot, and it'd just be a waste of your time. Retired from runescape. I will be on every now and then though. :)
