Not as bad as the south, but bad enough that walking into Wal-mart makes me think I just entered Hell. My ex's mother needed welfare and SSI because she was injured and the government flat-out denied her, but somehow, an illegal can get it by snapping his fingers. *Shrug* Cinco De whatever.
