Which melee skill to 99?

I've always wanted a 99 skill and I want it to be a melee skill. Which should one should I get?

 

 

 

1) Attack? Why? Use a whip?

 

 

 

2) Strength? Why? Use a d scimmy?

 

 

 

3) Defence? Why? Use a whip?

Why? IMO it will help you train faster by hitting less 0's

 

i reccomend str next for fast training then def or leave str alone and get 99 atk and def and stake:

 

 

 

for trainin ill add a samll part of my guide located in graveyard h and a and pmg....

Strength.

 

 

 

I don't really see a reason to raise attack or defense past 70. Their effects are kinda small and their real uses are for equipping stuff. Anything past 70 is dead weight and just raises your combat level.

 

Strength provides a large, noticeable, increase in damage.

meh str is overrated. defence provides the need for less food and they are coming out with 80+ wepons and armor later so str is backed up by atk and def..

 

 

 

berzerker helm

 

barrows gloves

 

rune drf/obby shield

 

all require def without atk the max hit eith an iron skimmy is only 16 or so

 

but with 70 atk you can hit in the 40's with whips!!

if you want you can put a half of a vote in each but im sticking with atk

The good people of the clan Elite Intervention had a split vote of atk 1, str 4, and def 1, so I'll put 1 point towards str from them.

Then get attack to around 70.

 

 

 

My attack is already 70, and im gettin all the melee stats to 75 for sure, so I'll start the 99 from 75.

Those are waaaay to easy to get. At least with melee I can go all rambo on things.

Strength:

 

If you don't train on monsters with very high levels, you easily should be able to hit most of the time.

 

And once you got that 99 strength, training will be faster due the higher max hit.

 

After that get attack up, so training on higher levels of monsters goes fast too.

Strength makes much more difference when 70+ than attack does. I'd go for high strength and defence.
