For those of you that stayed, did you see when it showed Jacob? I taped it and notice that if you slow down the video during his outburst you can clearly see him sitting in the rocking chair, creepy. I guess we can just use this thread for the end of this season (two more episodes I think, maybe just one). The Jacob part totally creeped me out. Much like "The Others" and "The Monster" in season 1, we had no idea what they were and it was pretty scary. That is what is kind of making me worried about this Jacob thing, it is going to be anti-climatic. The Monster is weird and kind of cool, but not scary, and "The Others" weren't nearly as scary and crazy as they were portrayed in season 1. Jacob. Too many things have been left unexplained, what is the monster, the powers of the island, the darma initiatives true reason for coming to the island, who came to the island first. I'm looking foward to the last episode to season 3 since they last episodes of the season usually explain things or at least has them reach the goal of the season. Not a lot has been answered as you said, but I think they are doing better lately. Only two more episodes to go this season, I know one is centered on Jack, but I don't know about the other one. Possible they are the descendants, but that means something with the child births killing both the child and the mother is different now. Richard not aging is just Richard looking the same now as he did 20 years ago. A stretch, but I don't think there is anything special about it. If next week's is Charlie's then the finale is Jack's. look_its_rob Posted May 12, 2007 Share Posted May 12, 2007 I knew i saw jacob! but when i went to watch again the next day on abc.com i couldnt see him seeing that picture gave me compleat chills this season had some slow points but that last episode was imo the best by far edit: just remembered does anyone have any idea what that white powder was. when jack and ben were going to see jacob, ben made a point of stepping over it while john picked a bit up Look its rob! What a well thought out and original joke. Since it was bumped up anyways, might as well talk about it. Who is excited about the 2 hour season finale? Some a-hole on another forum spoiled the ending for me, which really, really pisses me off, but it's nice to know the ending is pretty awesome :P . After disappointing 24, Heroes, and Jericho finales I am really wanting a good finale. So far Lost has delivered on that. Even the sub-par season 2 ended pretty awesomely. For one, Jack's beard is gray while he is on the island, why would it go back to black in the future? Another, he mentions his dad being alive, his dad already passed. It just seems like there are too many flaws with every theory that I hear, we aren't going to know anything until next season.
