You probably should have asked him what he was talking about, but either way, Jagex will check of course.

You're being watched.

I wonder if he was actually intending to real-world trade? Either way he'll probably get banned.

One report won't cause him to get banned unless it's blatantly obvious. Jagex might keep an eye on him and if he gets more then of course they'll ban him, but if that's the case, he probably is trying to do real life trading. I'm glad they're finally starting to crack down on it.

He could of been pming someone from the ROF to buy 1mil runes, 1 mil bow strings, or 1 mil ess. If that were true I'm pretty sure jagex wouldnt check the forums.

Though, the chance that it was a false report exists, though only slightly. Even the cheapest things in runescape would cost alot to buy 1 mil of, and for the person not to specify 1mil of what would have been rare.

yes

If he wasn't, by chance, attempting to real-world trade, Jagex has ways of detecting whether it was a legit rule-breaking (hehe, oxymoron) or not. ::'

Of course!

I think you should have made sure that he had every intention of real world trading, like asking him what he meant. That way if he was sure, Jagex (and you) could be sure that he was a real world trader.
