....You wrote "you" as "you" and not "u"meaning you want to spell things right, and not chatspeak?

 

 

 

Then spell people as "people" not "ppl"

RS hasn't helped me so much with my typing on the computer actually. It was first when I joined Tip.It I begun to speed my typing up :). I type alot faster now then I did before, and much of it is because I have posted so much on these forums. So I have got something from my current 1648 posts here :).

No, I did not become better at typing. Nor faster. I just did not get worse at typing. I learned a bit of english. And still learning everyday. Trying to keep the 'bad-spelled' words out of my mind and the properly spelled words in. Which is kind of hard. O:)

I was a good typer before I ever played runescape. A game called Stick Arena helped me type really fast because I would have to type fast or be killed. Also, there was a chat that helped me type fast, but it didn't do much for my accuracy. I guess the tipit chat would also be helping me with my typing. I don't know where I learned how to type with my eyes closed, but I would guess it is from a long time typing. I can't backspace with my eyes closed though. I have never been able to do that. I have actually been typing this whole sentence with my eyes closed. What is in italics is with my eyes closed.

I skill so much that I dont really type a lot. I'm still a slow typer :wall:

im not so good with buyin, but "sellin" is like, split second for me now

 

 

 

lol the problem is in essays, i never really gotta mention r2h and runes so ya..

Runescape hasn't helped me at all with my typing. It's been mostly MSN, considering I quit RS for about 2 years.

 

 

 

The only thing RS has helped me with is typing certain words like "buying" and "selling".

Runescape has helped me inprove my typing to an extent, I was learning how to type proficiently when I started playing RS, but MSN has helped a lot also :D

MSN Messenger just helped get better at typing.

Im way faster than I was way back in 2004 when i started.

B/c of RS, I am a better typer :) I guess, typing in my username and password a bajillion times helped. I can also type "buying" or "selling" with my back to the keyboard \ They should make you play RS in elementary school to learn how to touchtype. 1/2 the world would be able to type like 80 words per minute. :mrgreen:

Very true, i couldn't type at all before playing. Now *Types a couple sentences*, watch me go! :lol:
