whoops... mis-post..

if a mod sees this please move to the gallery, thank you...

And if it does break the rules, mods also feel free to remove. ::'

The clothing changes and the lips look good but the eyes look noticably fake. You took an already emo looking girl and made a caricature emo girl out of her. Shame.

You made that girl hot =]

A friend to all is a friend to none.

It all seems too strong.

However, I really like the eyes, They seem sharp and clear.

I wouldn't have changed the colour of the tee though, the original matches the eyes, Which is good.

IMO..

Imo, she was far more attractive before the manipulation.

The girl has midly assymetrical features, which you've softened nicely.

However, you've made her look like she's wearing a lot of makeup. She's wearing far too much in the original photo. You've also taken away much of her facial definition, especially her cheek bones, and you've made her eyes grossly emphasised.

Her mascara (seems to be around every pair of female eyes nowadays :( ) makes her eyes almost like a caricature of real eyes even without the manipulation, the manipulation just makes them look artificial.

She has beautiful eyes. (pity about the mascara)

the black on the eyeliner is too overpowering. apart from that the pics been much improved :P remove some of the wrinkles

who knows, as long as (she?) doesnt say its (her?) own photo, (she?) isnt breaking the rule that states that you cant post photos of yourself.

i am a dude. so no.. thats not me.

thanks for the tips also.

The eyes bug me so much, lol. Especially the pupil, which looks like random scribbles, and the eyelashes, which are too thick imo. The lips are good, do that for the eyes, the shine, I mean.

Yes, this was the first time ive really tried retouching a portrait.

I had seen a tutorial on Deviantart about retouching eyes so they stand out more and are sharp. I tried doing it without looking at the tutorial and thought they turned out ok, but they can be better, maybe soften them up more. As for the eye lashes I wanted them there to draw attention to the eyes, but like some of you said I may have over done them a little bit. I was using a 90% opac brush when doing them, so next time ill bring the opac. down so they are softer but still draw attention

As for the softening of the facial feature thats a common thing people do especially in magazines etc. I wanted to lighten up her skin to, as she looked a little sun burned and i didnt like that very much.

should have done a gradient map for the eyes rather than scribbling away at em.
