Wondering where the best place to get seaweed is?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Looking to get atleast 800 of them maybe upto 2000 depending on how boreing it is.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So wheres best spot, should I go to catherby on busy server and hang around picking it up (is there a spawn there?) or should I run around on entrana (how much is there)?

Depends how many you get per grab, and it's a fair walk from a bank unless I tele to camelot.

Lately, i've taken to collecting seaweed while crafting laws. It makes runecrafting more tolerable and I can gather 1k pretty fast. Even if you dont r/c, I think Entrana is the best place. Freminik would be good if there were a bank close by.

in frekimink couldnt u just talk to that one guy who puts all ur stuff into ur bank?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

edit:nvm it doesnt look like u can make him bank ur stuff after you finished the quest.

i think fremnick.. esp if you have lots of raw sharks to charge the harps... then lots of runes to teleport back

I'm not absolutely sure about this but i've seen a fair few seaweeds on the ground near the river that runs through Shilo Village. Actually being in the village there's about 6 that i saw, maybe more. Hmm maybe i should collect seaweed while crafting laws instead of getting vials..

Where do you get seaweed on entrana? I went to check3 days ago and no seaweed anywhere.

I've got 12 glory ammys so guess entrana will do for me, I keep meaning to get my RC up the few levels to do laws aswell so now might be a good time.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Managed to get ~250 from entrana fairly quickly too.

just checked. Theres 4 respawns in shilo village by the river.

shilo is by far the best because it is right by a bank

how many spawn on entrana? and what are the respawn times for both entrana and shilo village?

When I gathered seaweed, I'd rather at entranca, teleport back to falador, use the range on the way to the east bank and bank.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I eventually got lazy and started buying orbs :P Battlestaves are pretty profitable though if you make everything (cosmics, orbs, etc)

when i was getting my crafting up entrana was the best place available at the time imo.

 

 

 

its extremely boring thought, and i often had people coming along and trying to pick up before you could- very annoying.

 

 

 

i also used to bring along 4 telegrab runes, so i could get the two offshore.

 

 

 

its the quickest place i found

i have tried every place and way to collect seaweed. the fastest way is to get it on eterna then dragon ammy back to draynor (i guess this works best if you have like 10 or more dragon ammys. i cook all my seaweed at alkharid, then use the furnace to make the glass. (yes i have 500 buckets for sand, ask panix :lol: )

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

BTW Frogact is right about making laws, i take 4 airs to telegrab seaweed and pickup the rest, and dragon ammy to draynor. i end up with 23 laws and 25 seaweed a trip :wink:

I thought there where some seaweeds just by the lost city(lumbridge swamps). Its close to the bank in lost city and you even have a sandpit and furnice there.

My recommendation for anyone who fishes monkfish is to collect the seaweed in the nets in piscatoris. For every load of fish I cathch I collect 4-8 seaweed, just grab the 2 spawns when you start a trip and everytime you fishing spot moves. After a few thousand monkfish, suddenly you have 500 seaweed without even trying. this coupled with berts sand service makes orb crafting almost completely painless.
