Putting that book down and seeing that scared the living crap out of me. Of course I coped with it very bravely and definitely did NOT jump out of bed screaming and throw a shoe at it, definitely not.

May 30, 200719 yr Story - I was sat at my desk when this massive spider (this is in the UK mind) crawls onto my TV screen. I sit staring at it for about a second then push my chair over backwards and roll out of the room. I grab hold of my mum and show her the spider. So goes and gets a bowl (it really was massive) and a piece of paper. The spider was now horizontal on the desk so my mum goes to put the bowl over it. It senses our presence and runs; in a panic my mum slams the bowl down, trapping its legs on the outside (yes it was that big). May 30, 200719 yr Didn't I see that centipede in King Kong crawling on Ann Darrow? Bugs creep me out, even ants scare me nowadays. I might be developing a bug phobia. Thanks to you for contributing to it.
May 30, 200719 yr Oh when i lived in the caribbean we used to see those daily, It's called a centipede and they can be reallly big/long. I'd stay the hell away from it, just because it's sting is very painful. It's like having 10 bees sting you in the same spot at one time. Neat that you found one though, they're in caribbean and areas around the equator. hows the weather up there. where the rich people live. currently, in the poor area its -1.

May 30, 200719 yr Probably mentioned what it is beforehand, but anyhow. It's a centipede( duh) When i vacation in hawaii we see these things from time to time. They can em.. slither quite fast at times, they have a venomous bite that from a victim of multiple attacks said "can feel anywhere from a bee sting to like a gunshot" Turns out (90% sure) that if you are allergic to wasps and bees your allergic to this. EDIT: furthermore, a tourist had one of those crawling on a wall, and it dropped onto his face and attacked him, it didn't die til they chopped it in half with a scissor and flushed it. Mine when it attacked my brother, and tried to bite his shoe, well we put a bowl over it, got a bottle of bug-killing spray, and unleashed the entire bottle on it. It was still alive when we cut it in half. Hegemony-Spain
