Cash from 99 skills ....

Featured Replies

If you started off with 0 cash ... and at the end got 99 in all skills with pure profit e.g. cut your own logs fletch pick your own flax string add string to bow craft your own nats and alch the bow and so on ... Fish your own fish cook it eventually sell it and so on ... talking bout pure profit if you "save" your cash what would you think your end ammount of money would be ?

Make guesses ...

500m+ according to moi ^^

And sorry if you dont understand noob at forums indeed i am ...

But ill try to explain as good as i can in later posts :P

I wouldn't be so sure of that, sure Runecrafting, Slayer, Mining and skills like that will make you alot of money, but Herblore, Construction, and Prayer will drain almost all of it. I think you would be lucky to break even in the long run.

99 Slayer since August 2007.

You can easily make money doing herblore, especially if you use Miscalenia or farming to get your herbs. Manage thy Kingdom is easily the easiest way to get herbs and make money on them.

im going for 99 hunter, which requires maybe like 10k throughout the enntire skill. and in the end i will make about a 30m profit!

check out my blog hehe :anxious:

As said pure profit ... you get your own bones ... sure construction will drain a little cash but if you get paid for letting people use your gilded $$$$ profit comes back ? (sure a little cheap but still)

construction however, is the only skill that you absolutly have to pay out to get any sort of good xp from it. Yes, you can use limestone bricks, but that is very very slow.

Depends how you play.

Do you fish sharks(money but slow exp) or do you fly fish (0 money, big exp)?

Do you Pc for combat or do you use normal combat(drops)?

Do you use knives or expensive chinchompas?

It all depends how you play, and how lucky you are. It's impossible to know.

2480+ total

Iff you train all the skills the fastest way... you will go into negative...

so iff you plan a bit and stuff... you will be lucky iff you have 10 mill left i think...

I like to get a nice balance between profit and speed when training.

For example willows are fast and almost little gp, while magics are insanely slow and alot of gp. I go in between and cut yews for a nice balance.

It depends on how much you want to lose for faster experience. If you had several phats sitting in your bank you might as well spend alot and get 99 faster, ex:burning magic logs.

Yep, you can mine iron and bank it, you can also powermine granite.

But i doubt 1bil can be made of training a skill to 99, maybe Slayer but that's the only one i reckon.

1bil from Slayer? naw... Runecrafting could make at least 600m if you do nats all the way.

And that's more than enough to get all "buyables" 99.

Correction*

450m profit if you make nats from 44 to 99. That's over 600m if you get ess for free though :P

Well maybe not 1B, but certainly alot of money, if you include clues and drops such as herb seeds, runes, ... 85-99 Slayer would give you about 4k herb seeds on average, let's say we average on about 7k ea herb seed (wich is possible with the price of snapdragons, ranarrs and higher priced herbs.) That's already a profit of 280M, and that's not even with planting them. Believe me, you can make alot of money with Slayer.

Here's a droplist with what i got from 85-86 Slayer.

Some people dream of success, while others make it happen.

From my experience there's no way to make enough money from the moneymaking skills to pay for the non-money making skills. That's if you stop at 99 on the money making skills. Of course you can pay for it all if you keep going on them.

As you know slash, Im fishing sharks right now, And they are 800 ea, So 1k are 800k, That becomes alot at the end~ \'

I fished shark when they were 1k-1200 each, at those prices it would take you 70k shark to pay for 14 levels of construction 85-99 have fun :)

Uuh, ur not making any sense. Read my fishing example, you need to make a choice between fast xp or money gain. In buyable skills, you choose between slow exp with profit, fastest exp with money loss, etc. There's no such thing as a method that gives the most money and the most exp. How you get your 99's will result on how much money you make. Your 1b example doesn't many any sense, since it could be ANY amount of money, it all depends how you play.

Well, if you started off with 0gp, you prolly couldn't lose much money overall...

Besides, you could make a decent profit skilling, merch for a few hundred mil, then max out the drain skills, and keep your cash flow steady with skilling/merching.

There is no meaning or truth in life but that which we create for ourselves.

depends greatly on what you train on. If u get 126 combat kq killing or metal drags, or barrows, it'll be a lot, or if its pc, not much. all depends what u use
