I'm not saying that I don't trade. If I see someone wanting something I have in excess I will trade, but normally it is either single items (eg rune helm) or small amounts. Again this is the way the game was intended to be played, not people merchanting thousands of a single item to people who want a quick way to lev 99 in a skill.

just adding my two cents really quick. You said you traded before. Even if you trade once in your life or sell an item to a shop or buy an item from a shop (also a very important part of the Runescape economy), then the economy has affected you. The economy sets those prices that you sold at and made your cash off of.

I would also agree that everyone would say something else is more important in Runescape. I would say the people that play it and the staff that maintain it are the most important aspect. It all depends on your perspective. What is important is simply a matter of opinion.

Good work guys lets keep cranking these out!

Yes, but like I said, everybody is also affected by bronze daggers, or imps, or the 28-size inventory. Does that mean they are the most important aspects of the game?

And, like somebody else said, we should just agree to disagree and not waste our time arguing/debating/discussing the opening sentence of a brilliant article. :)

well i suppose some people rely on the economy less than others, but over all, the economy is the single most important part of the game. Not everyone does certain skills, certain quests, or mini games, but almost everyone heavily relies on the economy.

Currently will be using my Oni Tsurugi account to attempt to get 99 on all free skills without spending any gp, just for the sake of doing so.

nice, on the whole it was a good read, not so fond about the bit on the economy though.

mind telling me who's advice I'm supposed to take, when everybody sees to have trouble giving some simple criticism -.-

and obviously I'm gonna tell you to take my advice, why would I give you my advice, if i don't want you to take it? and it isn't like I'm forcing it on you. Common sense kid.

i just think it's funny that you're the critisism guy and yet you're the guy that wrote the only one who's article ppl didn't like, except that one guy didn't think that i was accurate. i write what i believe to be truth coming from what i've learned on the internet.

Also, I could easily disprove the second thing you said, but unlike you, I'm not that kind of a person who bashes other people for no reason.
